What people's thoughts on Ben Osborn (correct spelling) tackling? does he win many?

None really,to be honest we've all been asking for a left back for years,we sign one and karanka prefers to play a midfielder there instead.

What are his strengths.

Where in the midfield would you put him we have got technical better players in that position who offer a lot more going forward.

I know he runs all day long which is great but there is no end product to his game plus his positioning sense is know how hiw many times does he drift to far in to the centre and leave his man in space.

O ok.championship must be full of crap tacklers then because he’s won the most tackles in this league this season.its funny how people see (or don’t see) things when they aren't fond of a player or have an agenda.
It’s like lowerbc saying Osborn has no end product yet when he was playing in his best position he created the second most chances (that lead to a shot on goal) in the league that season.

No agenda with Ben,he's just not a full back.
You were the first to moan about warbo playing brereton on the wing,same here with karanka playing Osborn as a full back.🤔

Mind boggles why robinson not in at leftback. I thought we were putting round pegs in round holes etc. AK is a bit strange. We have the players now he just needs to get the right fit...

rr1 there must be a good reason AK has not used Robinson before now.He will soon play a part I hope and in time will make LB his own.

Osborn isn’t a left back but he has played there before karanka came in more than a few times and is the left back back up as he has been for years.warbo was the one that put a young kid out wide when he had been smashing goals in in the youth set up as a striker!he also played Osborn at left bk.

I personally think Ben Osborn could operate at left wing back but as a full back he doesn't stop enough crosses and can be beat easily to high balls into the opposition's right wing position. But I wouldn't want to see him dropped entirely. Give him a chance in midfield maybe.
