WE have a new squad they need time to gel. Well i'm sorry we had nine players starting the last two games from last year, where is the improvement. Why are these new signings not playing most matches. Was our player recruitment all wrong?

Don't be sorry, just maybe try to be a bit more patient.

There was a lot of new players come in and it will take a while to click I think. But look, we haven't lost yet and don't forget it's still only August. We saw some really good signs in the WBA game, that was clear improvement I feel.

Personally I think we will just take a while to getup and running and once we do we'll be pushing for top 6.

We are being patient, 20 years and counting outside top flight still getting big crowds home and away it’s about time our patience was rewarded, getting really bored with the be patient merchants on here, how long did it take warnock to make it work at Cardiff? Wolves spent money and saw almost immediate results,Huddersfield manager did it almost straight away, yet forest fans are accused of impatience because they have the nerve to moan about not getting promoted once in 20 years, pathetic

Spot on Stevie, but we're called moaners for putting an opinion over.

I think people are alluding to the massive changes on and off the pitch in recent months when talking about patience. I have to say that I agree with that philosophy. Yes we have had to wait for twenty years so a few more months is not going to hurt.

5.) 21 Aug 2018
21 Aug 2018 12:05:53
Sgetty what makes you think it will be a few more months?

6.) 21 Aug 2018

I can feel it in my water!

Karanka just need to start picking the right players in the right positions and right formation.
Simples starting with tight and left back.
And 2 upfront

8.) 21 Aug 2018
21 Aug 2018 12:58:11
It's fine having opinions just some people are always so negative.

It's not Karanka's fault it's been 20 years so why be impatient with him and some new players who have only played a few games so far this season, it's pretty unreasonable to think they can wave a magic wand:) You've hardly been patient this season though have you let's be honest.

I really hope I'm not wrong but think this team will become very good over the next few months.

Could be a lot worse, we could be QPR fans.

21 Aug 2018 13:52:07
I didn’t say I was impatient with him did I? I don’t have an opinion either way on him at the moment,my point was that we are probably the most patient fans around,as for qpr at least some of their 20 year old fans can say they’ve seen their club in the premier league

10.) 21 Aug 2018
21 Aug 2018 13:55:12
i’m actually impatient with the fans who keep telling me to be patient not the manager club or players!!

11.) 21 Aug 2018
21 Aug 2018 14:12:29
I have to disagree state.
It isn’t krankies Fault?
Ok please share your theory on who’s fault it is?
He brought in the players,he picks the squad and formation does he not?
Just Stating the obvious .

I know who's fault it is it's Warburton's fault simples. 😂🤣😁

If you’re a great manager you’ll make a massive impact straight away, many have before and many will do it again . I was all for Karanka - I still am but he needs to star and deliver something different and something that shows his managerial pedigree.
Billy Davies would have this team absolutely flying in the championship, AK should too. We need to step it up a gear in the next few games to demonstrate that we are moving forward.

My worries at the moment are compounded by the fact that my starting 11 - based on performances this season would be: pants, Bryam, Robinson, Fox, Figueiredo, Colback, Osborn, Cash, guedioura, soudani and oh actually I don’t know the 11th would be because none of the rest have shown me anything that tells me they are worth a place.

We haven’t addressed the problem of scoring goals and the manager doesn’t appear to have brought the players who can optimise his way of playing, his style is his style and I’m not questioning that at the minute but why can’t he find the players who can play his way,,Warnock for example manages to this effortlessly everywhere he goes .

At the moment it seems the best options are those who have struggled to make the team a force to be reckoned with in previous seasons. That has to be a concern when you think of the money we’ve spent, have we brought the right players for the Karanka way is the big question at the moment.

Forget their prices tags, reputations and what we want he. To be at the moment and honestly ask yourself if Dias carvalho, Grabban, goncalves and lolley look like they will set they can execute the Karanka tactics and make us too six material ?

Being truthful, what we are seeing now is a result of years of mismanagement on and off the field. We now have an owner who is creating an infrastructure to take the club forward. He has also backed the manager very well, and that unfortunately has sent expectation levels through the roof. The reality is the signings we have made are all good, but are only the first few building blocks.

Our squad has simply not had the quality required to mount any challenge, which is still the case now. A frequent comment on here is look how strong our bench is? When I look it's the likes of Watson, Murphy etc. It's not strong, no match winners or exciting play makers waiting to come on. Getting a top 10 finish would be good, anything higher is a bonus. Personally I think it will take another couple of transfers windows to get a squad good enough to be a top 6 team. These are frustrating times, as we have waited too long for any success.

Murdoch to be fair soudani has twice. Come off the bench and scored

Have you seen marankis at olympiacos Murdoch he's done a great job there but he's not scared to axe a manager if he's not coming up with the goods no matter how good he his suppose to be do you really think he has spent all this money this season to finish 10th 9th 8th or 7th if he wasn't after a quick fix Warburton would still be here he bought karanka in to get the job done now I would love karanka to do a great job and prove me wrong that would mean a top 6 finish for forest but my concern same as last season with him there's no humpff he's supposed to have bought players in that want to play for him and the shirt I think I've seen 3 like that the defence is still very shaky and there's no way we could play 4-4-2 with the defence we have we would get slaughtered by better teams also the system he's playing his not helping grabban a system that should have a lot of goals coming from midfielders I don't think he's got that sorted yet and for me you after play your best 11 with the players in form not the ones with the highest price tags big game for karanka this weekend better hope he gets it right

20.) 21 Aug 2018
21 Aug 2018 17:31:47
Skeg, there is no umph mate , there just isn’t - you’re right as it stands now it hasn’t been addressed and we STILL can't DEFEND A CROSS! However, if we are aiming for the top ten all is well and we will meet that requirement. It just seems a bit weird to spend 13 million on one player who may not be a class apart.

21.) 21 Aug 2018
21 Aug 2018 18:06:24
2star that’s a great point mate when your spending that kind of money on 1 player at this level you expect a stand out like the wolves lad not someone who may or may not come good, in cricket terms he’d be your overseas player the class apart as you put it . when he was subbed at Wigan he looked very very unhappy, be interested to see how he responds to that

22.) 21 Aug 2018
21 Aug 2018 18:55:52
Forget the last 20 years as we never had a team or manager anywhere near capable of getting us "impatient" Forest fans promotion.

We are at Year 1 of having such a opportunity and people are already throwing their toys out the pram.

So get a grip keep calm and carry on!

In AK we trust

{Ed033's Note - Carry On Up The Forest.

re read my post fawaz, 'it's not Karanka's fault its been 20 years' he hasn't been here a year yet mate, don't think we can blame him for all of that lol.

Next it'll be people calling for a new manager again and we'll be back on the merry go round.

24.) 21 Aug 2018

That’s my concern too Stevie.

Statetheobvious i’m certainly not calling for the managers head but I do get bored with being patronised by the be patient brigade

The 20 years thing is just as bad 😴. 4 games, 4 games! ? Murdoch/statetheobvious brilliantly summed up.

Perks whether you like it or not the 20 years ‘thing’is a fact, the impatient fan ‘thing’ the happy clappers keep going on about is a matter of opinion it’s almost used as a weapon to smear anyone who doesn’t agree with some on here

Not the happy clapper chestnut again 😴😴😴. If your not happy don't go. Simple ☝🏻
