All well and good red but this only serves to highlight the great job other managers did with really poor tools. Let’s just hope Aitor has brought Makita with the money has been given. When you look at the rubbish others have had to deal with it’s understandable why great expectations sit with him.

This is the point I was making yesterday red. Some fans seem to be under the impression we'd be smashing teams 4-0 each week, and now be sat at the top of the table! Our squad was pretty poor before the summer recruitment, it now has a better calibre of player. The key phrase was we are having a go at promotion, not guarantee we'd get it. 4 points off the top is not bad, and staying in the mix will no doubt please most fans.

Murdoch what the fans will put up with is irrelevant, because in my opinion the only thing that will satisfy the owner is minimum top 6 anything else and I got a feeling AK will be looking for a new club to manage as I said just my opinion

Patience dear boy patience while AK blends in the defenders and maintains team spirit. Darikwa, Fox and Osborn will be eased out for Byram The Hef and Robinson once they are all up to pace.

Only person to call city and Wigan little on here is you in your post, who we are is an established championship club of long standing nowadays 1 or 2 just pointing out for all the money spent at the moment the same problems in defence and attack still in evidence

Murdoch, I for one never forseen any of our games under ak as 3 nil wins let alone anything above that he's a defensive manager that wins his games by the odd goal the formation he plays like others that play that formation is called the boring formation but if you play it well like we did at wba it can be exciting football 😁 he just needs to get it right with the right players
