I will not ask for a manager to be sacked after 5 league games and any club that does sack their manager so early in the season is just bowing to pressure from its players, which is wrong.

For me i do not care if a manager has spent tens of thousands, or about £25m once he has got the majority of his players he wanted, and Aitor got the majority of his in early he needs to sort out quickly who are his best players, not individually but as a team.

That then needs to be the basis of his team, once he has done that he needs to get their fitness levels up to scratch and work out the best way to get the best out of the players, he then uses the pre season games to fine tune the way he wants things being done.

Every player has to understand what he expects from them when they get to play in the position he brought them in for so when they get a chance, as everyone does in pre season games they slot in with relative ease. Should any player not chosen as a main part of the team show a bit more about them than a team member they then get given the main role for a while.

By the time the season starts the manager should have fathomed out most of his best 11, so he should stick with that team as much as he can for them to gel, and to get better and better. When the league starts any players he is still unsure of he needs to substitute, but only one or two of them, but unless the subtitles show way more than who he replaced for them to be a substitute in the next game. Barring injuries and suspensions keep doing that untill he has the team that he is certain is his best.

Why does that seem so hard for Aitor, he changed the entire team against Bury, changed 4 players for another game, then changed 6 for the Birmingham game. How can the team gel if Aitor is changing so many players in a game.

So in no way do i want him sacked, yet, just that he allows the team to gel by making as few changes as absolutely necessary, how hard can that be? Is that impossible for Aitor?

Nobody wants another manager sacked and the crazy merry go round to start again not even me and I didn't rate the man when he started . But stags he was bought in to do a job just like any other manager in any other job and if he can't do the job it won't be us that gets rid of him he will only have himself to blame you can't blame the fans for having high expectations this season with the money and the backing gave him and with a lot of teams around us this season struggling to spend I would say it's going to be one of our best chances to hit a top 6 place and there's no saying we can't still do that under karanka there's a whole lot of games to go but he needs to sort this team out the team he has bought in because that first hour against a crappy Birmingham team was one of the worst displays I've seen for a long time I don't think any player looked like he knew what he should be doing headless chickens come to mind so as I keep saying over to you Mr karanka

Agreed skeg the early signes don't look to good to me but see after twelve matches or so we will have a better idea if its the same with no sign of progress then questions on his future will be asked

Skegsjay after the Birmingham game i think Aitor deserves criticism, the Birmingham game was the first game i was not just hoping but expecting to win. If he insists on making so many changes and we do not win more games than we are drawing, in time he will deserve to be sacked and he will only have himself to blame. He has been give everything he wants so he can not blame anyone else but himself. I just think with managers currently being sacked it would not be right to sack him just yet. I just can not understand why he changes so many players then complains about the players performance, you would have thought this was his first job.

After Wednesday we will probably be on the up again after beating Newcastle, it’s the next game at Brentford which is the barometer, if we come away with anything it will be amazing, maybe it’s the kick up the backside the players need, they can’t take any side for granted, which they did on Saturday.

How many kicks up the backside do they need, their first was in a pre season friendly.

The trouble with having such a big squad is trying to keep everyone happy. Every player in that squad probably thinks they should be in the starting 11 and I think that's the reason he keeps changing the team. I don't agree with it as I think the most successful teams keep a settled team and only change things due to injury, suspension or loss of form. I think we may have been better chucking our money at proven quality over quantity.

We have effectively a 25 man selection squad which is what you need over 46 games and have signed new players to blend into the team over the first 10/12 games of the season.

What do you expect the manager to do?

He gave our existing and up and comers a fair chance last season and bar a few THEY FAILED!

From a standing start we are unbeaten and showing a backbone none of you have seen for years from a Forest team!

We need a little more creativity in the middle of the park and another experienced frontman which look like landing this week then we have a top 6 squad.

Over 46 games we have as good a chance any in getting up provided everyone sticks together and supports the manager.

AK has shown some balls in sorting out what he sees on the training ground it's time some fans stopped playing with theirs and took a reality check on how far behind our club had fallen! !

2 stars and a second rate academy count for nothing when playing with the big boys!

Redinexile We need more creativity? 13 new players and we still need more creativity, how many more players before we have enough creativity?
