Redinexile You say you want us to see the bigger picture, and footballing success is delivered over 46 games not on a game by game basis?

Do you genuinely think that we do not know that?

Sadly with all the money awash in football now a days being relegated mean a massive drop in revenue, and being promoted means a astronomical rise in revenue therefore clubs get very twitchy if relegation looks a possibility, or promotion looks unlikely when investment has been made.

The reason some fans like myself are not happy is simply that like someone else has said we want to watch decent football and to see the team being competitive which is not the case.

The club however set the standard with Warburton by sacking him while 9 points away from the play offs. When that happens to a manager that was given something like £5m to spend how can they without looking stupid retain Aitor if in a similar position within the same time frame.

Aitor has been had so much more backing, and could yet turn things around, and we all want that to happen in spite of what you think but at this point Aitor looks unlikely to get us in a better position than Warburton did, if that turns out to be the case then he can not complain should he be sacked.

If only i could see progression being made game by game i would have no problem waiting to game 46, but there is not any progression as of yet.

COYR.

Yup stags that's what i have been saying. let's look at finances and wasted money. If we appointed a warnock or allerdice do you think money would have been spent on fickle maverick out of work foreigners??? Not just 5mil but closer to 30mil. No a warnock or Allerdice would be looking for grafters, good recognised footballers with good attitude and above all experience. The recent additions may turn outto be good particularly the ex west brom lad but it stinks of panic and total dissary at the club.
Personally promotion is not the only thing that matters, good football and progress is enough for this forest lifer but not the owners, its premiership at all costs.

Rutland Both Allardyce and Warnock make sure players give all for the team for sure. Team spirit, hard work, and organisation are their basis. Off course they have had success more than once.

Rutland , agree entirely with everthing accept the type of football part. I couldn’t care less as long as we compete , I wouldn’t to watch it forever but am willing to accept a Pullis/Warnock / Allardyce approach if it means we become feared and hard to beat. Billy Davies give us football and resilience but he couldn’t finish the job.

Agreed 2star. Good football is open to opinion. Me its getting going pressing even direct. does not have to be tippy tappy no end priduct like Arsenal and England. Just get at them and lift the crowd!!!

With all these latest additions would these go straight into the squad?
Karanka is panicking I think?
Give him 3 games and if he loses it's adios.

Sacking Warburton was not setting a standard as he was only ever a stop gap during the protracted takeover. We were going nowhere with tippy tappy sideways and Scottish lightweights. Funny how the Warbo fans forget their moaning over his family agent influences on recruitment?
Look forwards not backwards !

Oh dear Redinexile, i'm certainly not a Warburton fan as he took the approach you can score 2 but we will score 3 which is reckless, and yes sacking him has set the standard.

Please explain how it is acceptable to sack a manager that spent £5m who had his team within reaching distance of the play offs yet a manger who has spent £25m+ should keep his job if he achieves the same.

You will have to do better than that, whether or not a manager is a stop gap they should be judged on where the team is in the league, where are we now. Like i said oh dear, poor Redinexile you really do have a man crush on Aitor.
