Don't have a go at me, l have a confession to make. I was at a loose end on Saturday and l went to, how softly can l say this, l went to Meadow lane! It cost me £16 but l saw 6 goals, that will never happen across the river. Very poor defending attributed to this score. My god they are a miserable lot, not like us, we are all happy with the state of things, aren't we? The thing what really pi--ed me off, was the prat with the drum, could not hear my radio for score updates. Sorry will not be going back we moan about out wing backs should see there's, did not see once they headed the ball. Poor old Vaughan, did not get on the pitch as a sub bad move for him.

There was one stand almost completely empty except for 100Stevenage fans, the queue for the bovril stretched for about ,well l thought l was having personal service until another person turned up. The last time l was there was in the sixties when my mate played them. Memories AAAHHHHH!!!

A trip to Meadow Lane at least once a season is good for the football soul and a reminder that despite our moans and groans things could always be a lot worse!
Be very careful what you wish for?
