I,m sure most Forest fans deplore our revolving managerial door ,the club seem to make such poor choice and the men given the job are so inflexible, the last four have had their way of playing and just stick at as things go wrong .
DF wouldn,t let them off the leash,PM liked at least 6 changes per game ,MW played side ways and players out of position ,AK offers very little entertainment and signs player after player ,if only they,d just yield enough to appease US things mind end so much better ,but no on we go ,ploughing different but equally bad furrows.
Will we ever see our beloved team up against the country,s top sides again in the league ,I so long to see it but season after season,s end in disappointment, like a never ending bad dream!
CARLO

why Don’t you put your name forward for the next time the job comes up Carlo.pretty sure you would do a cracking job with all the ideas you have.promotion would be a guarantee and we would all be happy.100+ goals on a season a squad of only 18 players keeping the costs down.win win isn’t it

My goodness Carlo.

Whatever we think about managers at a given time it does not mean that they should appease us, there are too many fans with differing opinions to appease.

Managers should be more flexible in their approach, they should play to their players strengths, and not swap and change players like disposable nappies but they are not employed to appease fans.

Carlo that's a great passionate post my friend and so very true,In that when a new manager comes in,yes he has a style he wants to play, but sometimes the tools aren't there immediately to play that way, flexibility is something lacking in all of them,if they'd have showed it who knows?
Great post Carlo .👍👍👍👍

I am sorry to disagree Carlo, we have a very poor reputation for sacking managers and I agree sometimes an apparent poor choice. There are so many examples of managers appointed and a season spent getting the team to play together before success . Fulham being an obvious example. Other teams such as the sheep down the road have changed their manager almost as much as us yet still have maintained a top ten position in the championship for several years. Leeds were the same. AK we should support and especially the players. The team against Swansea was probably one that all of us on this site would have picked and yes I expect a win this Wednesday and Saturday and I believe that is what we will get

Managers are inflexible I think because they have been successful with their methods elsewhere so naturally they expect the same results again with the same tactics, but I think over time the game changes slightly, players Change slightly and even the rules of the game can change a little, and their methods are no longer quite so effective

What we need is a manager with humility not someone who is stubborn and rigid in his approach. I hope and pray that Aitor Karanka has the potential to become that man. YOU REDS!!!

Doc you have more confidence than me mate, the side he put out against Swansea will go on to another none scoring run my friend,it just has no goals in it,not interested that Osborn should have scored,he's not a goalscorer and neither are the rest of them, except grabban, but if you don't create, you don't score.
Said yesterday at the game a neutral would have turned off or left at half time, the current bun seems to agree it was a bore🤔

To be honest managers 10 a penny nowadays if you don't do your job then adios someone else will as I've said before it's business 2 easy games coming up should be 6 points and a start to the season had results and we could be in bottom 3 by weekend good results we could be top 8 over to you karanks

Our manager always comes across as being humble in media interviews and has confirmed that he has taken on players ideas in team meetings to tweak the system.
This is hardly the trait of a manager lacking humility?
Managers have to have a clear strategy to manage and the players have bought into this. Taking on everyone's collective ideas is hardly a recipe for success?
Managers lead, followers follow and lost sheep fall by the wayside!
Onwards and Upwards
