And most of you said carvalho is a waste of 13million.
Bet you’ll all be saying how good he is now.
I’ve said from the start he’s a good quality player and needs a games to acclimatise to the league. That goal will do him the world of good and will show even more quality now.

Level above.

Up until his goal I thought he was a total passenger that looked lightweight with the game passing him by.
Took his goal really well though and hopefully we'll see more of what he can do now.
Still think Dias is a far bigger threat going forward though.

He wasn’t in it in the first half but grew in to the game and showed his quality

See I disagree there Fred as he moves about the pitch and can be hard to pick up.
From the first time I saw the portuguese lads I thought they were quality,Bournemouth they looked superb,I like their pace and movement, not sure the older players are on their wavelength at times and that might be your problem with him ??

Agree Fred- Dias looks loads better with Janko behind him - 10 decent mins isn’t enough to sell him to me in one hit but I felt there was promise tonight. I was cursing carvalho but he really grew into the game late in the first half and I had a feeling he’d have a good second half. Still seems like we have another couple of gears that we don’t know we have !

Colback was our best player did all the nasty horrible stuff 1st half especially;Red Fred correct in my opinion, TIL the goal carvallhio had been a passenger but his goal was a glimpse of the quality he possesses hope now we see more and more of it

thought he went missing in the 1st half but 2nd half when he found space and was aloud to run at the defence we saw what he is capable of, he should be the type of player that grabs the game by the scruff of the neck and bosses it but personally i still wanna see more before i make a judgement on him

Yeah, Carvalho was quiet early on but grew into the game and his link-up with Osborn for the goal was special.

This kid needs to play as often as possible, he makes things happen, we look a better attacking force with him in the side and he'll only get better as he develops and acclimatizes to Championship football.

Some of you lot watching a different player to me.

He wants the posession a bit quicker than he's getting. He ain't a passenger, he's just waiting for the ball.

When he gets it, he's a step ahead. Class act.

Cjay,When he’s not got the ball he’s a passenger whether it’s his fault or not, and let’s not get carried away 1good finish in 8 games doesn’t make him messi, so calm down and let’s see if he can start influencing games that’s what you pay 13mlll for at championship level,I know your always right and everyone else wrong but let’s wait and see how his season develops

When he hasn't got the ball, he's either trying to shake markers or he's pressing the opposition to get it back.

He's a 13 million pound player, teams won't give him space to breathe. At worst he's occupying 2 opposition players creating space for others.

Passenger, nope.

Cjay think it’s you that’s been watching a different player , teams have had far more trouble containing cash than carvallhio

Stevie I don’t think that’s the case. Carvalho draws players to him mainly full backs and holding midfielders, this provides space for out wingers (cash!!) so they then influence the game with a goal a good ball into the box etc.
