If you cannot take responsibility for raising the roof for 90 mins come what may and making it Fortess Forest then please can you all DO ONE at the next home game?

Apart from the vocal few in A Block the ground is like a library. The Trent End is a shadow of its former self.

The East Stand might as well be on the East Coast for all the noise it makes. Oh sorry that was when it made some noise BC would not recognise than his manor!

As for the Bridgford End 200 away fans make more noise than those with their feet up watching the video screen!

Where are you? You hardly sing when you're winning!

So you are happy to pay good money to watch us being played off the park then Redinexile? Poor performances, poor managerial decisions, underachieving promise. I for one won’t sing along to that dross. You can clap and sing along if you want but it won’t make Krankie stop being stubborn and playing the way he does and keep picking the same players that he does.

Redinexile what a horrible thjng to say on here. Since seating has been installed most home grounds have become quieter. Most away fans ignore the stewards and are allowed to stand up.
That aside crtiticising your own fans when its the manager who is picking a dross team and playing awful football is poor form and you should apologise. I have never witnessed a more negative approach to setting a team up than AK does. I hope the fans DO turn on him now he deserves it for his beligerance in picking weak, lightweight players over grafters and experience.

You don't go regularly redinexile so your comments mean nothing to us regular season card holders.
6 wins from 17 championship games, hardly inspires us to chant from the rooftops.
Karanka needs to up his game at home 9r do one,not the fans.

Red if you went regularly like those of us with season cards you would be able to comment on the awful negative football he provides.
His tactics and reliance on older age players with no energy is a problem.

The football this season other than 60 mins v WBA and 10 mins v Norwich has been enough to cure anyone’s insomnia let alone encourage singing.

He is blessed with 22k season card holders and a full house, serves up rubbish and then blames the atmosphere. Total clown. Still awaiting his apology.

Seems to be a lot of entitlement here. Some people can’t go every week either through finances, health or distance. People don’t have more or less of an opinion or are more or less of a fan because they attend games. I feel like more of a fan now that I don’t go because I watch more content, subscribe to all of the things I can afford to and when I do am more appreciative of the whole team and squad because it’s unusual for me. If you go every week it becomes less special, so people get jaded. I understand both sides of the debate, it’s whether you see yourself as a supporter or a customer. If you’re a supporter you’re giving the club money and want to help the team, if you’re a customer you’re paying for the performance and expect the team to turn up. Both views are correct in my opinion. I think the best analogy would be if your boss is demanding work to be done you’ll resent it more than if your boss is asking and encouraging you to do something. We’re the boss in this scenario and I think Karanka is feeling it.

Apart from Pompey and Coventry there are no more long suffering fans than Forest.Yet all these three teams are blessed with loyal fans who turn up home and away week in week out, so to be criticised for lack of support for our team is an insult.

AK has the squad to excite but he chooses not to use it! How is that the supporters fault.

Arrogant, self opinionated, stubborn and a man who has favourites HE needs to change in order to get the best out of his players NOT the fans

I think a bit of a reality check is in order. We beat a team that will finish top 6 before the break and moved into the play-offs, we then lose to a team that will finish top 6 and dropped out.

If we were in the bottom half I could understand it it, sure it's frustrating not to win when you are 1-0 up after 5 mins but think people are going over the top. I think we are still improving steadily, before Sat unbeaten in 7. Sure we will have a few more disappointing games by the end of the season but think we are a good shout for top 6.

Hopefully we can put things right again against Bolton and get all 3 points.

Floresta no mate some people can’t get every week that’s accepted but if you don’t see a game or experience whether the atmosphere is good or bad you are not really entitled to lecture the people who were there and expo it 1st hand not being able to attend is 1one thing lecturing those who do go is another

9.) 23 Oct 2018
23 Oct 2018 09:48:30
Whatever anyone says, the atmosphere isn’t and never has been great at home. A few pockets of fans try and we’ve had some great games but it’s certainly not the norm. We have quite an old fan base and haven’t had much to encourage youngsters to get involved. The club can turn it round and get a new generation of more boisterous, vocal fans in but we do need to see positives, effort and commitment consistently from the players and management - we just aren’t getting that at the moment.

Munmad pompey more long suffering? They won a cup and had a fair run in the prem while we been languishing, even
cov had a much longer run in the prem than us

Statetheobvious unbeaten in 7 before Saturday how many draws in the 7 ? These days with 3 points for a win a draw is almost as bad as losing especially at home, the great win at boro means very little taking 1 point out of 6 either side at home

redinexile, if you attended regular like most of the people your having a go at I could nearly take you seriously, your messiah Ak is turning trips to the city ground into a chore. games used to be the highlight of the weekend, few beers with mates ( alldayer) such is his dull approach to home games is little wonder the crowd struggle for enthusiasm.

asff779 has said when your keeper booked just after halftime for time wasting at home its sums up the lack of intent. I know a lot of the lads who make the noise in A block consider them mates most go everywhere with forest, they could lecture me for not singing enough, not really prepared to take it from a bloke that hardly goes and doesn’t witness the dour home set up 1st hand.

Sswe what happened was another dismal home performance it’s no good beating boro and taking 1 point out of 6 from millwall and Norwich at home going goals up and gifting teams points with negative substitutes. and baffling team selections doesn’t help

I have ears and attend enough games around the Championship to back up the fact that the City Ground for all of you spouting righteous indignation is a library compared with many other grounds where fans with less expectation make more noise throughout the game NO MATTER whether or not they are being "entertained"!

We start each half with that rather curious rallying call of Mull of Kintyre then sit back and only respond to the action on the pitch instead of raising the roof when the going gets tough!

It seems I am in good company as even Pep says Man City will not win the Champions League without the fans raising their game at matches.

So it's time to get heads out from under the seats step up to the plate and expend as much energy over 90 mins singing as the lads do running! At least that way you deserve a beer after the match whatever the result?

Redinexile mull of kintyre at forest no more curious than you’ll never walk alone at Liverpool,( a song from a 50’musical, Annie’s song at bra mall lane,Delilah at stoke, the liquiddator at wolves, and your wrong since all seaters came in most grounds resemble a library nowadays hence Roy keanes famous quote about old Trafford

Red the city ground comes alive with exciting football,as do all grounds, how many clubs fans turn up the volume when they are struggling?and with your vast experience of the club's,who are they?
We aren't used to watching negative football at the city ground,it's not in our DNA.
Negative football is only accepted by fans if results are good, which they aren't.
Com8ng away from the ground you can hear fans saying they're fed up with one striker and two holding midfielders,a clown of a goalie, they aren't blind and they aren't happy with what's on offer.
You seem to have blind faith in karanka just because he got Boro promoted, your local side, his style is awful and results are poor, you keep telling us how good he is and you stated he'd play three at the back and was open to tactical changes,37 games on and we have only seen one formation, the Boring one.
Now Mr marinakas is over he needs to improve fast, even the wally with the brolly has gone above us tonight.
