Some observations ; when Mr Warburton was in situ we played in a ' chuckle brothers ' fashion, on Saturday we were still doing this, ' to me, to you to me etc 'all in a very small space. Why? Norwich 's back 4 were all tall and any high ball was always won by them. They were less skilled on the ball but made more effective passes. We had no corners in the second half at all which shows how effective their defence was.

We didn't have a corner in the first half either, doc. The Norwich defence was effective because we didn't really threaten it after Lolley hit the bar. No attacking impetus but that's to be expected when we play 2 defensive minded midfielders at home.

Well put doc m. Their lies the issue. When up against a big back four you need pace and guile to get them turning. You need presence in your striker and midfielders getting beyond the striker. Murphy has presence no pace and is out too often. Carvalaho cannit play the number 10 role as he drifts too much and comes very deep. Lolley is our biggest threat but he has to cut in and run across their back four. Cash when employed plays wide wher his pace and strength is better through the middle.
Our back four is beginning to fall apart again. Not dealing with crosses and losing concentration its a shame fox is not 4 inches taller. Dawson should play, even at 34 he is mobile and good in the air.
If one up top and 2 holding is all that AK can offer then its pretty poor.we are getting found out and he seemingly lacks the versatility to adapt to situations. One dimmension no direction Karanka.

I think he needs to play guediora. Carvalho is coming deep because Watson and Colback sit deep so he needs to retrieve the ball. Guediora would bring the ball out and has a good range of passing. There’s no point harping on about Norwich we can’t change the result. Learning from mistakes is important. I think Cash will help us, as will Dias it might be worth having cash play centrally with Lolley get that Christmas tree formation going, it’s almost the season for it!

What has happened to Tachtsidis and Yacob have they been put out to pasture with Bridcutt and Yates?

Maybe we are waiting to blood them against the mighty Brewers in the Cup!

How AK can continue to ignore these 4 players when anybody with half an eye can see that Watson and Colback just isn't working.

I haven't even mentioned Gued as he seems to be out of AK'S good books at the moment

Tachtsidis is 6'4'' and a physical player but has a pass in him and Yacob likes a tackle ffs give them a go in what is going to be a physical battle at Bolton tomorrow.

I hope we see changes in that powder puff midfield that Norwich simply dismantled on Saturday
