Well done Leicester. It is interesting that the two players of the year cost them 1 m and 400,000. NP built this team to a large extent with the help of very good scouts. So the plaudits should go to him. However a lot of money went into the club ( 150M ) so it was not done without financial backing of course. A model we would need to follow.

{Ed001's Note - Pearson did not buy the players and in fact had wanted Vardy sold. Not sure why the plaudits would go to him over the guy who was in charge of recruitment, Steve Walsh.}

Don't forget Pearson got kante in after getting the bullet so credit for him there too.

{Ed001's Note - no he did not, Steve Walsh got Kante in.}

Sarcasm ed kante came after Pearson had left the club.

{Ed001's Note - sorry mate, I misread it. My apologies. I thought it said before. I really shouldn't edit while my nephew and niece are using me as a climbing frame.}

Haha no worries I'll let you off as it was early morning😀. Has Steve Walsh not gone to arsenal now.

{Ed001's Note - thank you, I really don't know how I read that so wrong. No they managed to poach a scout, well analyst really, but not the man himself. I would be very surprised if he left.}

Pearson was manager when Vardy came in so he gets the credit, same as he should get criticised for bad signings coming in.
Leicester's remarkable form started four months before Pearson left.
Ranieri continued the good work.
