I see a few comments about pants clean sheets but if you look at those clean sheets he hardly had to make to save, the defence is protecting him now, on a second note if we got a point every time a defender shielded a ball for pants to collect and ended up knocking it out for a corner because after screaming at him he still hasn't moved we would be promoted already, butland earnt stoke a point against us would pants if stopped those. no grabbans one on one butland was off line like usain bolt pants would of been rooted and conceded as for lolleys effort doubt he would of reacted there's the difference between a top 6 keeper and an average one.

The keeper is part of the defence and together they have 7 clean sheets 3rd highest in the league.there working together to keep goals out just as any other defence would.lol.

First rule of goalkeeping. If you cannot make the catch then make sure you parry the ball away from danger!

So why does everyone pick on Pants for parrying the ball away from danger?

Not seen too many video clips or matches where he gets punished on the rebound?

Maybe because of his size he gets noticed more during a game than the dwarfs on the pitch?

Just saying!

No doubt Pants has some flaws but he's the best keeper we've had at the club in a while and he's certainly good enough for where we're at right now. If we go up, he's someone you'd want to improve upon.

Not sure why he gets so much stick on here. He's awkward looking and cumbersome but generally a decent keeper. His distribution can be erratic, especially with the ball at his feet and he's not the most agile but he often makes harder saves look a lot easier with the use of his vast frame. He's good 1v1 and despite his criticism with the high ball he's light-years ahead of what we've had for the past year or two with regards to commanding his box and being a presence behind the back four.

Do we always have to single a player out for criticism? It seems there always has to be one.

If we're serious about promotion do we want an awkward and cumbersome keeper with erratic distribution, and not very agile that's quite a long list for someone your defending, and red he rarely catches that's the point it's always parry I've seen plenty of clips of him rooted to the spot or kicking straight to the opposition, sorry Sutton pants doesn't organise the defence and be vocal his lack of presence in the box hardly breeds confidence in the defence, I just don't think if were serious about top 6 he is the man to build that platform from

Pants is I’m sad to say pants at some time in most games that I plays in,there’s always a mistake in him and his distribution is shocking. Most of us know that even Karanka must see it,BUT at this moment he’s got the jersey, and although I end up with a sticky bum every time he gets near the ball he’s our No 1 at the moment so let's try to get behind him, and not slag him off to much

I thought Smith was a better all round keeper than pants ,pants is a 6ft plus keeper who's afraid of coming for the ball on crosses didn't command his area , we could see if Peter schmickle as any more kids

Sticky Pants is good for a Goalie. At least the ball sticks!
