So, what type of team do we have in forest this season, is it the team that's going to walk through to promotion or a team that's going to be in and out of the playoff places and possibly fail. I look at a team with a very, very good defence, possibly the best two defensive midfielders in the league, a centre forward scoring goals for fun, and an absolutely brilliant player in our joe, so what am i worried about? Well times like the first half on Saturday and in other games this season we've dominated teams but struggled to score then rely on two scruffy goals to get the points. and I can hear you say I'll take that every week, and so would I but I can't see us getting away with it against better sides, so why can we not score goals for fun, if we have such a good side. we make chances not always great chances, so where's our problem may be I just worry to much.

I think that we are jaded by so many false dawns KB.It really does feel different to me this time though as we have an owner who knows what he is doing. With a couple of additions I believe that we will have a real chance at promotion. FTID!

But then we go away to boro who have the best defence in the league outplay them and win 2-0.
But hey that’s being too positive isn’t it?

Totally agree with you sgetty with the jaded and false dawns seems like forever ago that we had a really reliable forest team to support, probably that is why I get so bloody nervous.what I was trying to get across in the previous post was that although on paper we seem to have a very good team we are never able to spank teams like hull and the like, with the team we have, we should be doing, playing against better teams don’t bother me , I’m worried about dropping silly points against poor sides and losing out on promotion.

Said a while ago something is still missing in forest team but can’t say what. I guess you must think along those lines as well when you say we need a couple of additional players.🥃here’s to a good win over villa pal

That's the thing Sutton the away form is great,if we can sort out the home form and turn draws into wins we'll be up there, now we have a solid pair at centre back we aren't conceding and grabban is scoring every game who knows, villa away looks the most difficult on paper, but would it surprise if we won that and then dropped points to Ipswich?

Now we have got Yacob in for Guediora, we only need a creative midfielder (I say Osborn) to make us a very difficult team to beat. Still waiting for Carvalho to make a permanent mark.

kB puts up a perfectly reasonable post and lo and behold the happy clapper police have to come on and have a dig at him for the lack of positivity, laughable

we’ve lost 1 drawn 2 and won two against the top 5 so have we come un stuck against the top boys so far?looking at those games against the TOP boys I would say no,but each to there own.one of those draws the match officials robbed ya of a victory.
It’s all opinions but when you beat 2 (should of been 3) draw 1 and only lose one against the top 5 in a promotion chasing season that's Not bad form really is it?
Stevie is that me being a happy clapper or having a dog?

We beat the better teams it's the likes of Preston and Ipswich who are likely to trip us up!

Up until recently I would have agreed with you Redinexile. Our back four has been outstanding of late and the two protecting them are really shaping up. This in turn is giving the front third more freedom to get at the opposition. Whilst there is always the potential banana skin I think that they will be very few and far between for the rest of the season. We should fear no-one regardless of their league position, reputation or abilities.
