Good performance at Dierby apart from Carvalho again, we can't keep playing with 10 men, he is the reason we're not in the top 2 you can't make one good pass in every 5 games with the freedom of the Park he has, we should have loaned him with an option to buy, do you think we would have paid £13 million at the end of the season I think not, against Dierby AK keeps him on the pitch for 90 minuets and takes Lolley off again when he's just hit the crossbar! Poor judgment from AK trying to justify the money we've paid for him.

ak took lolley off in injury time cus he had a knock and I thought it was a difficult game for carvs as he was marked tightly by huddlestone who had a good game, the only player that had a shaky game was darikwa but a draw away at a top 6 rival u can't moan about, last few seasons we would of got hammered, we just need to iron out the little inconsistencies in our game and we will be top 6 no probs, with carvs he's young and only can get better this season will be doing him the world of good.

Carvalho was the divisions joint top in the assist table. I could see the logic of playing Osbourne there for that particular match. I think he needs a rest perhaps but otherwise he is fine.

Number 10s are generally one of the most marked players on the pitch. You have to expect them to not do much for periods of the game then pop up with the odd goal and assist. Remember if the other team are paying a lot of attention to one player then there is space for other players like Lolley to exploit...

Skegby you really need to watch how Forest move the ball and see how often Cav is the link which plays the telling pass. and his covering off the ball. The guy is sheer class!

Don’t think it was carvallhios type of game but I believe he played a 1-2 with lolley when his shot hit the bar ,but also gave the ball away needlessly a couple of times and put us in bother he’s improving,as for doubling our money on him I would be very very surprised

Carvalaho is ok and has improved but as for sheer class and doubling his money??? His second touch is normally a tackle and he is still not strong enough. One dimensional and strolls too much. Never worth the 13 mil paid but if you judge him on assists alone then he has a value. Yet to see the swagger and confident dribbling seen on youtube agajnst crap teams in portugal. You can see the same naivity in Dias and gonclaves. This is the big league!!!!

Some people don’t understand the modern game. The job of a number 10 nowadays is to look for space and drag players away from the strikers and the other options. If you actually watch Carvalhos movement 9/10 times he’s available for the pass. Then players come to cover him so we move the ball back into the space they’ve vacated and hey presto we’re further up the pitch. It’s a slow methodical way to squeeze teams so if we lose the ball we win it back further up the pitch. All this is possible because of Carvalho and his movement.

Floresta couple of seasons ago fans would tell us all how crap Ben osborn was saying all he does in run around aimlessly and has no end product.if you actually watch him he always made himself available for a pass to get a player out of a tight spot.they moaned about him only ever passing backwards or sideways (stats showed otherwise) and that he had no end product (again stats showed otherwise).sometimes people form an opinion but won’t admit there wrong so pick up on every negativity just like a few do with pants.

I cannot understand all thiz defensive talk around carvalaho. Yes he is a neat little player, has an eye for a pass but anyone saying he will be worth twice the value dream on. What did we pay for Lolley? It was undisclosed so i reckon 1.5 to 3 mil. He is the finished article and has created and banged in gosls frkm day one. He is worth north of £15mil now and is crucial to our push for top 6. Carvalaho comes too deep, can't head a ball has no pace and is slight. A one trick pony just not a the attributes of a number 10. Yup assists are better bht you can get so much more much for your money

As I’ve said I believe carvallhio is improving but to hear some talk on here you ‘d think he was the new messi ! The significant think to me is whereas there’s talk of prem clubs coming in for lolley and even Osborn in jan , no one is knocking the door down for carvallho,think that sums up where he’s at at the moment,learning to play in the championship
