Unfortunately I think he may well be on his way. Who do we get though? I personally don’t want jokanovic, his teams aren’t the best defensively but good going forward.

Cowley from Lincoln

I think he will quit on the possibility that funds for transfers haven't been sanctioned?
This is my personal view only and I'm only making assumptions?
If true strange timing!

Is it time for Martin O'Neill. It will be his last jobmost likely and what more fitting end seeing the Reds back to the top?

If he goes I think it will be his own downfall, although he never said what had gone off after the Ipswich game he made it clear he wasn't happy.
Did the same at Boro, these things should be kept behind closed doors.
Grabban not been playing with a mystery injury???
To be honest not fussed either way as long as we have a good replacement lined up,he will be foreign though,,that's guaranteed

Ff no doubt a foreign manager maybe waiting?
Forest need a decent manager who has an in-depth knowing of the championship.
If this story is correct I’m sure Marinakis has already got a manager lined up.

This uncertainty wii kill us ridiculous if he goes now

To say we need a manager with in depth knowledge of the championship is not entirely true:

Wolves manager had none - they romped the league
Leeds manager has none - he’s doing good !
Benitez had none and they walked this league blindfolded.

We need a bloody top coach who can get the players playing good winning football.

Managers with knowledge of this league tend to be hoof ball tactics such as Warnock / McCarthy etc

Personally I wish we had stuck with Pearce as I feel he would have had us more progressed today than this constant chopping n changing ( yeah I know his results prior to his sacking were rubbish - but patience should have prevailed) his signings in general were good and he had / has the club in his veins.

The comedy of Monty Python and Fawlty Towers seems ingrained in the Forest DNA when it comes to hiring , firing and sniping at managers which undermines morale amongst players and fans?

Well done whoever is stirring the pot, your plan to gift Reading 3 points on Saturday will ensure your plot succeeds so we embark on the next episode of the Forest Flying Circus!

We should put Basil in charge of the Gumby's and be done with it as we become a laughing stock once again 😩😖🤡

Seems to be trend these days RIE.
Owners expecting instant success because money is thrown into a club.
It may work in the Greek League but in the championship it's totally different.
One year a team get to the playoffs then the following season they struggle.
To want results straight away is a recipe for disaster. Yes it worked with wolves and forest have tried to follow suit with the mendes connections etc.
At this stage to sack a manager who is just shy of the top 6 seems harsh and if happens it will unrest the team as a whole.
Mr.Marinakis over to you. You own the club and hopefully have Nottingham Forest's interest at heart.

Benitez has a lack of knowledge?
Not at all. a proven Premiership manager got Newcastle straight back up. No comparison.

Red it's got nothing to do with fans ,this is down to karanka himself.
Marinakis could even face a backlash from fans, but something is not right between the two of them.
Nothing us fans can do one way or the other

You said knowledge of championship

Benitez never managed in the championship so how he had this in depth knowledge of that league ??

Read what I wrote

People keep banging on about mr m ‘knowing’ how to run a successful football club but it’s a lot easier to win the Greek league title with Olympiacos who in Greece would be the equivalent of Man U or Liverpool than it is getting Nottingham forest out of possibly the most fiercely competitive league in Europe, maybe like fawaz before him he thought it would be just a matter of pumping a few quid in , sadly it isn’t

FF.
Correct fans may have their say but the manager carries the can.
Like it or not football is a business and heads will roll.

FBB /

Read what you wrote about knowledge of THIS league ( totally different beast to the premier league)

I well aware what you wrote but benitez is an outstanding manager who obviously got Newcastle back up.
You're missing the point Meaty. last time I looked the Premiership is called what it because of Premier standard of players, clubs etc!
Regardless if he never managed a championship club he got them out of it. His knowledge surpasses most if not all of championship managers.
Don't forget Krankie only ever got boro up once and once only yet he failed to keep them there!
Another example. Neil Warnock. He got Cardiff up and his knowledge of this league is good.

Let's just hope we don't have another foolish owner who makes all the wrong decisions.
