I for one am gobsmacked that Martin O'Neil decided to take the Forest job

I would have thought he would want everything on his terms which is not something our owner is really known for.

Martin likes to spend big, therefore the owner would have had to promise a big kitty, in fact more like pptiger sized transfer funds for both January and the Summer.

The owner has been said to have been amazed by MON passion and drive, i hope he can translate that the players.

Martin has a reputation for football that is not exciting to watch, so after Aitor's style of football split we Forest fans, and indeed the owner said to be unimpressed by the lack trying to get at Chelsea of all teams in the cup has the owner bothered to check out MON playing style.

I really hope Martin can show us what we all have been missing for oh so long, which is off course is success.

I hope he gets the same sort of reception at the home game as Pearce.

I hope it's the Celtic style they blew teams away back then even a few English clubs in Europe including Liverpool and Leeds , though having Henrik definitely helped the cause😁👍😄

Would be so bothered if it's a more reserved style of play as long as it works but boring football with so many draws isn't good that was my problem

Talk of quality of football O'Neill may play makes me laugh. After the dross AK served up in 90 per cent of home games it's not difficult to improve upon.

how do we know its not on his terms yes we've got a dof but oneil still might have a say on who he wants aswell and does this appointment not state that kranks was in the wrong? cus like u said LC he likes to do it his way, for me I just hope we can start playing better football an maybe we will see 2 up front on Saturday lol

85, i'm sure Martin would not have joined us if he felt unhappy at what he was told, but with the reputations both Martin and our owner have i'm gobsmacked either of them entertained each other.

The type of football Martin will deploy is unsure, but the majority of the time it has not been good.

Some have said they will accept that if it means improved results, just as i would, but my point on that was, if the owner was unhappy at Aitor's approach to the Chelsea game has he bothered to research what Martin has put out before talking to him.

I wish Martin well.
