I sincerely hope the James McLean rumours are false. He is the one player I NEVER want to play for my football club.

im with you on this on Gazza, we don't need lowlife like him at our club

2.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 16:17:12
Good player gazza, but doesn't adhere himself to fans with his political views on times past

3.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 16:23:03
Yeah, wouldn't lower our site by printing what I think of him.

4.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 16:30:49
We pay players for playing football not their political views.

Soon forgot about the previous signing when saying give him a chance. He is not official so why worry.

5.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 16:43:24
Taking away his political views. Do you rate him as a player/will he improve our team?

6.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 16:51:53
Lc like I said if he comes here I won’t go down again TIL he’s gone, never asked anyone else to stop going

7.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 17:54:30
You can keep that scum away from forest.
I've fought this country and need I say more.

8.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 18:02:15
He's a good player so I wouldn't mind him at the club. All he's done is exercise his right to freedom of choice. Don't understand the dislike of him as he's got his reason's.

9.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 18:03:43
Redtree if Martin rates him that's good enough for me.

10.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 18:16:47
Stop panicking lads it's John Mclane, but he's having a bit of trouble getting out of the airport at JFK.😀😀😀

11.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 18:26:56
Redtree, I think that should we sign him we are perhaps 3/4 years too late, but as bsered has said on the rumour site Martin knows him inside out.

Psycho clough, yep would be interesting to to see how the Irish would react to an English Player playing for an Irish club turning his back on their national anthem ,refusing to respect their war dead whilst hypocriticly stealing a great living amongst people and in a country he obviously hates still plenty of do gooders like you ready to make excuses for McLean though,. Fawaz B.B. am with you mate, oh yeah and McLeans a garbage footballer as well,

18 Jan 2019 19:43:08
FBB,

If what you say in your post is true then you need to leave the forum immediately and register on the MI5 watch list!

Also take the trouble to research why McClean does not wear a poppy. You might not agree but you should respect his decision instead of joining the baying mob?

14.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 20:35:46
Redinexile I know why McLean doesn’t wear a poppy, I don’t need to research everything on the internet like you seem to , the poppy represents hundreds of thousands of people who gave their lives fighting hitler and other tyrants to McLean’s excuse doesn’t wash.

Oh and by the way I have zero respect for him

15.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 21:43:20
I always thought McLean was a toothpaste 😆 anyway how's it going rie, ready for some banter this year? 😆

16.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 21:48:24
Psycho clough that’s right McLean is exercising his freedom of choice , the freedom won by the men and women he insults every November.

17.) 18 Jan 2019
18 Jan 2019 22:59:35
For what it’s worth the times I’ve seen him play he was quality. I think he would give us a different dimension.

18.) 19 Jan 2019
19 Jan 2019 00:26:30
His reasons are entirely valid. Too many 'poppy fascists' in this country who seem to think everyone has to wear a poppy and no one should have a choice. I refuse to wear one purely because of those people who act like the tyrants we've rightly or wrongly disposed of in the past.

19.) 19 Jan 2019
19 Jan 2019 07:03:05
Psycho clough I respect anyone’s freedom of choice but that freedom was won by the very people who’s sacrifice you are choosing to ignore by not wearing one,and it must make u feel a real big man not donating a couple of quid a year to the hard up families ofservicemen who have made the ultimate sacrifice ,or been life changinly injured, so congratulations on exercising your ‘freedom of choice ‘

19 Jan 2019 07:28:46
If my post is true!Hmmmm. 🤔
RIE I find your comment disrespectful and quite immature.
I wear the poppy with pride to remember all those who have spilt blood for the love of their country and secondly.
I've no need to argue with about anything other than your hilarious posts about forest. In essence do one.

I thought WW2 was fought to ensure people had their rights whatever they believed in, and could disagree with things if they wanted to - it's called democracy.
We remember the First World War because of the appalling slaughter of men in all countries, but the war was supposedly fought so that "small" countries had the right to exist, even if they wanted different systems of government to ours, thus protecting minorities.
My father fought throughout WW2, and always refused to wear a poppy as he felt War was best not "celebrated".
Ireland (Eire) was neutral during WW2.

22.) 19 Jan 2019
19 Jan 2019 09:39:39
Soldiers from ww1 and ww2 I have the utmost respect for as they didn't have a choice whether to fight or not. I refuse to donate anything to families of soldiers that were in wars I didn't agree with like Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Serbia and Syria amongst others who weren't fighting for our freedoms but just fighting for our governments imperialism.

23.) 19 Jan 2019
19 Jan 2019 09:53:55
Just because he has a different personal view to us about the integrity of wearing a poppy doesn’t make him a bad guy.

FBB Lighten up and check your diction!
We do not need a lecture but perhaps remembering all victims is a more rounded view of life?
I shall endeavour to keep you entertained on all matters Forest and keep your negativity in check when we hit the bumps in the road! 😃

25.) 19 Jan 2019
19 Jan 2019 10:27:59
RIE I'm lightened. I have no need to check my diction!
You keep playing the wise man. I use the term loosely. Please feel free to entertain and please don't ever question my time served in the armed forces.
If you feel you want to question me further I'd glady meet up and discuss this!
Moving forwards keep us entertained with your quips.

Bsered but the ira who’s insignia McLean wore on his training kit at a couple of clubs actively supported hitler and Germany

27.) 19 Jan 2019
19 Jan 2019 10:39:09
Psycho clough, Serbia was a U.N. peacekeeping mission nothing to do with 'imperialism'. people were being slaughtered in an ethnic civil war as in Libya, Syria and Afghanistan.

Boys I think it better to drop the subject he hasn't signed and I doubt he will, wages would be high and he's on a long contract at stoke.
Can what the is trying to tell you is that you actually put ,you fought the country, not for it.
So kiss and make up 🤩🍻🍻👍👍
