Post Ipswich our performances were very average. Barring a fair draw at Direby and a fortunate win v Leeds (10 men) we were flat at best but generally poor. Losses to Reading, QPR and to a lesser extent Preston and Millwall (both in good form) and the draw with Norwich, are going to cost us. I will conservatively suggest 7 points dropped? All teams will have a dip in form, the problem is we can't have any dips now. A few seasons back, didn't Roy Keane take Sunderland on a mad run? 6th bottom to promotion? Fulham had an equally impressive winning streak last season. So all is not lost but it's going to take a massive effort from all involved. A few extra bodies or players brought in from the cold, maybe Keano back? If it could happen, after another Laurel and Hardy moment, a little modern day miracle might occur. FTID.

Scouse I agree it’s going to be a tough ask to get into the top six this season but as far as everyone having a dip in form we have been having dips in form all season
That’s been our problem yet we still have a tiny chance
Everyone above us have had their 5 games winning runs we haven’t that’s what we need now !
We need a consistent goal scoring midfielder someone that can cross a ball and a CB if we get them in that tiny chance will become a big chance

And where are these magical players going to come from at this time of year, not saying that i don’t agree with what you say Red, but just can’t see where they are. a goal scoring midfielder is hard to find, a really good defender the same. if these players are out there the good ones will already be at good clubs, so why would they want to move. And we really do need more than two I’m afraid - U REDS.
