Eric has done well at Hull since making him a centre half. The club could have saved some money had they kept him.

You have a point but Eric has not been someone whom got injured on a regular basis, he always gave 100% and if i'am right it was not his defense duties that were the problem, just he did not get forward enough. If defender defends well surely that is all that matters.

Eric was a good defender, could centre a ball, scored goals and was a leader on the pitch - we got rid of him.

Sorry guys, but Eric was just a very average player. If he was this world beating right back, why did Villa let him go?! We need better players to be successful, unfortunately, we are still looking for that in the RB position.

Sgetty agreed. I temporarily forgot about Byram. I was referring to our other so called right backs.

Murdoch, Saying a defender defends well does not suggest he is a world beater. You may call Eric average but untill the new players prove otherwise who has been better than he was, and have played regularly?

None of them are any better than Eric was,and there in lies the problem,we rarely get anyone coming in that’s any better than we already have.ill be very surprised if any of the freeby and lone defenders we’ve just scrapped in will be any better than Eric and fox and can’t see pele being better in midfield than any we already have, and most of what we already have just ain’t good enough 👎
