As we enter March we have 5 winnable games imo

Stoke A
Hull H
Villa H
Ipswich A
Swansea H

All teams below us in the table and Stoke and Villa definitely punching below their weight

If we can get Grabban and Cash fit I think we have a great chance of getting poss 15 min 11 from these games

Our defence and midfield look rock solid and with Grabban Bonatini and Murphy available I think top 6 is on

March is where we mount a challenge for promotion or not only time will tell

COYR!

I really admire the optimism but this is Forest. Pretty sure after a drab draw with Stoke City on Saturday we'll be back two steps after our large step forwards.

Seen too many false dawns to be too excited just yet. Think we'll miss out by a good half a dozen points this season. In fact, I'll guess we'll miss out by four points just to give us an extra kick in the teeth (re: Leeds and WBA robberies).

We'll all give up now then?
Can't see the stoke game being drab, their manager plays attacking football which should suit us down to the ground.
I'm staying very positive,we've at last got the right management team in place.

I certainly hope that the players don't adopt the same mindset as you seem to have SSWE!Then again I don't think Martin and Roy would allow it.

I'll happily be wrong chaps! Just can't see us doing it this season.

Good to see the new Forest starting to appear though, beginning to see what kind of side we'll be under MON, hard to beat, defensively & tactically solid with a good work ethic and direct attacking play when required. Much more suited to the Championship than the tippy-tappy Johnny Foreigner strategy under previous Managers. Funny that Jack Robinson has that enormous throw-in and it's taken three-quarters of a season to see it employed and it's effective!

There, I said something positive.

I'm never giving up until it's mathematically impossible. and at the moment,we should all be filled with renewed optimism.

Cash also has a great long throw, set pieces are definitely improving with the more direct approach to them and having two big lads going up from the back plus Robinson.
Makes fox look what he was,a full back pretending to be a centre back and no threat in the air at set pieces, great bit of business to get some money for him and off the books, always a weak link.

Sswe strange thing mate over the last few months when anyone said anything slightly critical you were all over them like a rash, now tings are looking more promising you’ve gone all negative,, I sort of agree with you I believe we don’t score enough goals like you hope very much i’m Wrong,

We don't need to score loads of goals. We just have to make sure that we concede very few.

I reckon 2 wins (Hull and Ipswich) 2 draws (Stoke and Swansea) and 1 defeat to Villa. I just hope the 'score and then defend for 45 minutes' ethos doesn't come unstuck anytime soon. If it keeps working then fine but it's always asking for a kick in the balls.

Why would you say a loss to villa????
When was the last time they won?
The fans are on their backs and they can't defend.
Think that might be the easier game.

76, You say score then defend for 45 minutes?

Althohgh both Forest and derby had the same number of shots on target, Forest had 15 shots all together derby only had 6 shots.

Not bad for a team that scored then just defended.

Oh Forest had 15 shots with 30 odd % of possession.

derby had 6 shots with 60 odd % possession.
