Sarah Clapson has made me laugh, when marking each player and then making a comment she said Carvalho came on 64 minutes but could not create anything much as the team were being pegged back. Something like that anyway.

She then said Cash came on 64 minutes and forced a save from the Ipswich goalkeeper. Something like that anyway.

Redtree, One player, Cash had time to get forward to create a passage of play to force the keeper to make a save yet Carvalho did not have time to create anything, even though both came on at the same time.

That therefore contradicts what she said.

Carvalho actually made a great run through midfield that nobody else managed all game. Just underhit his final pass. He also won more headers than Murphy did in 90 mins. We do need a dynamic quick strong midfielder to carry the ball. Only Lolley can do it in todays starting 11. He is marked by 2 by everyone and nobody gets forward quick enough. With 1 up front who doesn't win enough in the air and is as mobile as Nelson on his collumn we don't have options.
