Starting to think that this squad is a long way from good enough except for Lolley, Colback and Grabban. We are carrying far to many average at best players. We have nobody capable of scoring the goals to make us contenders without Grabban and lack the creative player to play the Andy Reed role that is so vital. Also the fact that almost all the midfield positions are occupied by defensive midfield players gives us a dour negative look. don't like to put such a dampner on things but its just how I see it at the moment. Still renewed my season ticket in the hope we will get it right, but I hope MON goes for quality not quantity for next season. U REDS.

Not so much they are average,but just the same type of player, run pass backwards and have no flair. Just a Massive unbalanced squad.
Makes me wonder what would happen if you slung appiah, lolley and goby in there and let the opposition worry about their pace?

At least the opposition couldn't man mark lolley.
It's not the modern game though unfortunately and you can see why, as any manager employing such tactics would be loved if successful, but would be sacked in no time if a failure, most just go for caution and it's understandable

Great post. Top three sides play with attacking intent and keep possession. We’ve so many negative and defensive minded players. We never move after passing the ball and stay so static. We’re afraid to move out of position. I’ve said all year players bought should be able to adapt and be taught. I blame the coaches for not having the correct mentality.

Can't continue to blame coaches and managers the players need to front up.

Fact is apart from Colback,Lolley,Grabban and Robinson they just aren't good enough!!
