Last night's result proved one thing. We are not ready for promotion via playoffs. Not good enough nor deserve to be in the playoffs. I'd rather be competitive in the championship than be batterd week in week out in the premiership. Unfortunately its probably going to take a couple of seasons to build a good team. Unfortunately our owner won't wait and let's be right Martin isn't getting any younger. Us as fans have be positive and hope success will come. Can't help but think that when we finish in mid table obscurity martin might just go and maranakis goes all out for Jankovic.

If the owner decides to change manager again in the summer I hope we just get rid of all squad bar the 5 or 6 worth keeping so he inherits next to nothing and build with nearly all there own signings or it will be new manager with the same players yet again

The one thing is very clear on here if the Ed gave us 8 indicative votes we'd be about as close to agreeing on a manager as the MPs are about Brexit and they've had 3 years not just under 3 months. Anyone would think the football we were playing under AK was stunning. If we are honest even some of the early home wins were so painful it was like watching paint dry. It doesn't matter who the manager is this squad is full of average players with only one attacking threat and that's Lolley. Ak saddled us with 3 Portuguese attacking players who can't cut it. It's left us sadly lacking in creativity. Coupled with the fact that our strikers have lost ability to take chances leaves us with little to be positive about. I'd say we need at least 15 gone at end of season and a proper goalkeeper signed. As to the manager we will never agree but in MON and don't forget his backroom staff we must trust. It's 10 years now since Billy put together a half decent side and that takes some turning around and it's going to take time that we must give to bring about structured change and not just panic signings.
