Under Aitor Karanka we signed the three Portuguese players of Carvalho, Goncalves, and Dias very quickly, how likely are Forest to seal some deals this time around.

One of Martins old muckers was brought in as a scout looking allegedly for British talent a fair while ago so has he had enough time to find anyone within the budget restrictions and for the club to agree terms within a couple of weeks after the window opens.

It will be interesting to see if Martin goes for four or five big improvements on what we have, or if he goes for quantity to get as many of his type of player in.

Will we get someone in nearer the end once the Premier league teams have decided who they are letting go, indeed how many are we going to manage to get rid of. All to look forward to.

I think the serious work will start closer to home with trying to trim down the squad we have only losing Ward and Henderson to natural wastage as it where.
Gary Birtles has written a piece for the Nottingham Post , not normally my first port of call , with which I am in complete agreement

Reports are suggesting forest are interested in Senagalese striker who has scored 1 goal in 33 games. No thanks.
If we are linked to players of this calibre then God help us next season.

Fawaz Bank Balance. We were linked to many players in the last two windows that did not join us, perhaps he is a younger version of Murphy if he is wanted.

We made an approach for him January and are believed to be showing further interest.

Being linked to a crap player does not mean the club are really interested. It is probably an agent trying to unsettle a player
