I work in Burton, consequently I’m surrounded by Sheep Botherers, as well as a smattering of other fans. Over the past week I have spoken to a West Brom fan, a derby fan, a Leeds fan and a villa fan. The Derby and Baggies seem to not want to go to the premiership, both of them said the following reasoning: I don’t want to go to a league where we lose most weeks, and celebrate not getting relegated, I did assure the derby fan that he didn’t have to worry about the latter thing, however it did get me thinking, do I want to see us get promoted only to lose most weeks? Yes I do. For me you can never swim with the big fishes if you don’t get into their pond. I don’t think we are there yet, but I also don’t think we’re a small fry. What I do think is that you can’t be so negative especially if you’re in the playoffs, you spend a whole season to get there and then hope to get out of it ASAP, though it does explain Derby’s seasonal flops.

The Direby fan at my local Co-op (ewenace) has been saying all season that she doesn't want promotion.I can't understand that mindset!
