Harry Arter? Yes, I know he's Irish, but get over it.

Not for me, 10 yellow cards in 25 games played.

I’m a bit biased as I’m from Roy Keane country (Cork) but we will obviously be linked with a lot of Irish players this summer. If they can improve the team I don’t see an issue

Some people seem to get a little het up over it Daz. Hadn't realised his disciplinary record was so bad. Quite impressive!

Didn’t Harry Arter and Keane have a big fight. He left the Ireland team and had a mardy if I remember rightly?

It was him and a few others that keane upset.he moaned that they weren’t training everyday like the others but they had knocks or aren't able to do that due to injuries over the years I would guess.

Ff, if you can play for Ireland then yes, he is as English as you are.

Forgot about the whole Keane/Arter fallout. Forget that suggestion then.

Its anonesense you should play for the country you were born in not through some distant relative you probably never knew existed.

That's half the England cricket team then Ff

Many players born in England of foreign heritage are not going to reach the required standard to represent England. I certainly wouldn't deny them a chance of international football.Darikwa for example. Born a stone's throw from the CG by the way.

If you regard your parents or grandparents (as per the qualifying criteria) as distant relatives you never knew existed I guess you grew up in an orphanage Ff. Sorry to hear that.

You are missing my point Migg66.
I'm just giving my opinion at the end of the day the boy is English.
Luckily for you I don't get offended easily by your last comment.
Some people have to grow up in that environment.

Mig. No need for below the belt comments. totally uncalled for!
FF was only voicing his opinions.

It's called using logic to try to bring someone to their senses by pointing out the absurdity of their reasoning. Do either of you actually think I called Ff an orphan? Arter's nationality is a matter for him alone. Next thing you'll be telling me the Duke of Wellington was Irish.
