Having read how Reading's new striker George Puscas aged 23 has made a massive impression on his debut. 1 in cup and 2 on Saturday. A club record of somewhere around 7.5 million over a 5 year period. His goals at international under23 level of 18 in 23 is impressive. A Romanian with strength aggression skill and determination! isn't this the sort of striker we should have lured to the City ground?

Reading were under embargo but have paid 7.5mil for a player from sheff wed and lured Charlie Adam on a free. Apparantly Reading have contact with a super agent who is close to the big clubs outside of Spain and Portugal.
More than pleased with the Birmingham result but thought it worth mentioning this activity as Surely we could have been in Readings class ref purchasing and ambitions?

Watched him and his mates mulla England’s young strutting peacocks in a tournament in the summer, he looked quality then, mind you with a name like that playing football you’d better be good!

Stevie that's the point. I think he scored a hatful against us so he was in the shop window and having been loaned out by inter then he was on scouts radar?

They paid 7.5mill for a player that won’t score more than grabban, we paid 6mill for grabban. lured Charlie Adam? lired him from what his sofa? he was without a club and is past it to be honest. after seeing semedo I would take our man over adam any day. silva can take free kicks and corners.

With Grabban nearing 32 you have to wonder whether he can go a full season on his own upfront. He couldn't last season and we fell short at the end. Mir still very much untested.

We paid 6 mill for a 32 year old they paid 7.5 mill for a young player who can only improve, and may well have significant sell on value, it remains to be seen who has the best value for money, he is more of a target man than grabban, slightly different type of player.

Stevie we paid 13 million for a young player who didn’t improve 🤣 it really is down to the clubs doing the right research, having a defined recruitment policy and a bit of luck. I don’t really think we have any of those elements 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I am not trying to compare puskas to grabban more our second striker. Mir has little pedigree but this lad has a future and his weakness according to hus last boss is he works too hard and is knackered near the games end. What a weakness!
