Last week I made comments about not getting the safety certificate and how Hasawi had made us a " laughing stock " in football and received comments from the likes of " tomorrow " and " sswe " I implying I was " going over the top " with my comments! Well all I can say is 24300 maximum capacity when we need all the money we can get, all this when we have our usual big " local derbys " and now coupled with massive draws like Villa and Newcastle arriving, I said it then and I'll say it again, the owner has reduced this club to a shambles! The take over can't happen quick enough, or am I going " over the top " ?! Apparently the new safety executive Alan Bexon has got to prove that the hierarchy are talking to him about crowd safetty to get the level lifted back to normal according to East Mids today! You couldn't make it up! Now fire away!

Is it not Alan Bexon who recently left as Safety Officer after allegedly seeing 6 million people through the turnstiles over his tenure?

20 years of stadium neglect is the reason the capacity is reduced.

So the owner whoever that may be has a decision as to invest in the stadium or the team in the short term.

For me restrict the away end to 500 and turn the ground into a fortress. Remember with segregation you cannot have 31000 in the ground so in reality its a none issue just an opportunity for the moaners to come out the woodwork!

If moaners vote with their feet then happy days! A ground full of happy Forest fans will succeed if 12000 backed Bournemouth's promotion?

You have your certificate, and you are still not happy.

Yes a reduced capacity but it is only big games where that many attend anyway.

Perhaps when the take over is complete the owner will consider putting right over time.

Yes Bexon is coming back to continue in his previous role but most of that time was not served under the current owner! All this adds to the negative image we are portraying and adds " fuel to fire " to the likes of Derby and Leicester who take pleasure in calling the CG " a council tip "! We once had the opportunity to build a 40000 + capacity stadium by the council on the site near Clifton Bridge where B&Q and the likes are now situated in 1990 but BC wouldn't have it, even threatening to leave so the idea was shelved and left 2 years later! Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Johnny
You are going over the top, how many times in a season do they exceed that amount anyway? It will be sorted, Bexon is the ex safety officer rather than the new safety officer so factually wrong as well as over the top.

As I understood the news was that for any possible attendances above 24300 will need to have risk assessment and set plans in place which include the full new management team, this cannot be done until the latter is sorted.
So why not be a little optimistic and look at the progress we have made recently and hopefully this will keep improving on all fronts.

Positive thinking. Read my text about Bexon " coming back"! Isn't that the same ex safety officer! Didn't you understand that?! Tomorrow. So supposing we have a " storming season " challenging up at the top ' playing some good, attacking football, don't you think that 24300 figure will be surpassed! If not it will show how our support has lost faith!

If we have a storming season, that would be great.

If events turn out that we comply to the council's regulations we will get the full capacity back, it is plausible.

If this, if that.

This is not a perfect world, but the birds still sing, and the sun still shines.
