What a great few days since Saturday. The fans and players were all feeling low after yet another low scoring, inept home performance but then we sold a young kid who has had no impact in any of our games this season for £13million. Don't worry about not having a sell on clause because he'll turn out to be another flop just like that Antonio fella we sold to West Ham. We then "streamlined" our squad by getting rid of more players than we brought in and we were clever enough not to follow most clubs route of bringing in proven championship players or young, hungry lower league prospects, instead we brought in a couple of players who have been loaned out that many times they clearly know how to adapt to a different league. On top of all that Britt has apparently signed a new contract that definitely means he'll be here for years to come as we all know contracts these days are cast iron guarantees a player is staying. If he does get injured, which is unlikely considering our recent history regarding injuries and the fact he had a nice rest for most of last season, we have a whole host of other pacy, mobile goal machines in reserve. So thankyou Fawaz for the great business since Saturday, it's so nice to have an honest and transparent owner who is a man of his word.
