I think most people have been offended and upset by the sale of Twisty, but we need to seriously consider some other factors in where we are at present. 1. We now have a clear choice in Goalkeepers and Dimi has been sent to get experience. 2. We have plenty of defenders we can use and move about, and if one is injured plenty can step in - perhaps PM is working on bringing Traore up to speed as he looked slow and unfit to me. 3. We have plenty of good midfielders, experienced and also younger ones, and I'm not bothered if HL goes at all. 4. Twisty's speed can be replaced by Hildeberto if necessary. 4. We have 3 new players who could all possibly do a good job for us - it will depend on how PM trains and uses them. 5. Keeping Britt is an asset, but we have not yet seen his goal hunger from Velios - give him time. 6.Pato, Lars and maybe even Ward needed to move on and won't be missed. 7. We have £14 mill to pay wages and bills with. 8. Pereira (DoF) will be looking around the loan window for an extra striker.
I said at the beginning of the season we need to see where we are after 10 games, although another fan on here suggested 15. PM is building a football playing team so despite what we think about FAH we need to be patient - remember Gomis just got a hat trick and Brereton can bang goals in so we have options in our youth teams still.
There is no need to get depressed, pissed off, and angry since football is always at the mercy of big business and we have to wend our way through that. Some clubs have had a much rougher time than we have and we must not get caught out by FFP again.
Hold the faith and support the team and the Manager. All is never lost. The sun can still shine for us, and I feel the players now will want to work hard for the fans. Forest are by no means written off yet if you look at it with close scrutiny.
Now I feel a lot better for that.

Good post, will get behind new signings and look forward to a more settled season till the merry go round in January again, but don't trust Fawaz at all, won't ever believe a word he says anymore, he should just be honest in the first place and people wouldn't get pissed off, it's really quite simple but obviously not for him. Correction on your point 8 - Pereira won't be looking for a striker or anyone else under contract because there is no loan window anymore, that was abolished from this season. The only players we could sign now are those who are free agents/ out of contract.

Some fans don't want to listen. They want us bankrupt unfortunately! Refuse to accept the situation we are in and fawaz is trying to repair it!

Just one thing: there is no loan window this year.

You know there is no loan window now don't you? They got rid of it this season so that's that now until Jan, only players we can sign are free transfers.

OK I accept the error in Loan window absence, but still think we might pick up a striker somewhow: Europe is a wide field to be searching in.
