Well I have refrained from commenting on the start to the season. It’s evident though that some of the signings are expensive and of poor quality. A lot of money looks to have been wasted.
Cooper needs time, though I am sure some of these new players won’t feature too regularly given what I’ve seen so far. I am not going to name names and slag players off but those with any ounce of conscience will know that they either aren’t putting a full shift in, aren’t fit or simply are off form.
Cooper is a great coach. Let’s see what he does- after all this is the first real test he has faced at Forest. At the moment I can’t see where the next point is coming from, though I personally hope he is given a good run of PL games to see if he can turn things around.

Red coopers not a great coach, maybe a motivator but persisting with a sluggish three when you need to shore things up with a four indicates belligerence and petulance and lack of expansion in his tool box. Sorry I like cooper as a person but his limitations are being exposed, I mean Lodi please who thought he would do well instantly at this level and leaving a class act like obrien on the bench for three defeats. Now that is simply bewildering.

Rutland it’s not bewildering if you didn’t want them through the door in the first place mate, take Lodi for instance, whoever enticed him in must have promised him game time, and I don’t believe it was Cooper, that probably goes for a lot of the others as well. There’s no way that cooper wanted the majority of this squad around him, he's been given it and told to work with it and who to play. I’d list the players that I don’t think cooper wanted but that will take to long, so I’ll just state the players that I think he wanted, most if not all of the loanees, Bowler, who I don’t the club wanted otherwise they would have bought him early on at the price, instead of waiting until the last day, and MGW who I think was brought in just to keep cooper on side, Obrien and Toffelo, I understand we needed more players, but I believe there not Coopers choice. Unfortunately I also believe that it won’t be long before Steve Cooper has left the club.
