May I commend to all of you on here an article called "Forests Thursday Club" written by Matt Barlow in Saturdays Daily Mail. I'm not a Mail reader but a dear friend posted it to me ( as in a letter with stamps)!
Forest are supporting this regular gathering of retired Forest legends and Steve Cooper, his staff and Sean Dyche regularly attend. Johnny Owen is trying to pass on Forests Thursday Club via the PFA to other clubs. In this day and age of multi millionaire footballers it's hard to imagine retired greats suffering mental health problems and depression.
In this article, there's Colin Barrett ( with his bus pass) Robbo ( sadly suffering from Parkinsons) Frank Clark ( 80 years old but with an hilarious story about him and George Best in Stringfellows nightclub) Gary Birtles, Ian Story Moore. The cast changes and it's just a weekly get together over coffee or wine with meal.
Beg, borrow or steal a copy or get it online. It moved me to tears and laughter and it will do the same to you I'm sure!

Sean Dyche is always at our matches. I know he never played for us. But something other than a regular ad counting mission brings him here.
