I think fawaz will have to cut his losses. A deal will be done as it takes a lot for him to admit mistakes and that he is in financial trouble. The cash cow has run dry and he should be close to accepting part of something than a large slice of nothing. I think the guardian article is close to the truth as i doubt the editor would allow an article to be published if itvinvolved a massive lawsuit. Its just posturing from fawaz. Yes these are desperate times for forest and over his reign the finacial chaos has been very damaging. I hope that all consessionaires get their monies and the personelle that help run the club in lower positions are looked after. I believe his exitvis immement and his petulence is getting the better of him. Money and over inflated expectations do not make a club sound and the reason for supporting. I have said i will follow forest wherever they are and it may well be div 1 or 2. But its betterto be asscociated with a club that lives within its means, has a proud history and has moral ethics around paying its debts and being an icon among kocal businesses and franchises. What fawaz has brought to forest has stained our reputation in a very damaging way. It always had a murky under tow with chairmen and secretaries etc but this level of incompetance is unpresidented! The club and the shirt mean much to me and all you reds fans, let's hope we can have our pride back whichever division reinvention takes us!

Considering what FAH has asked for, if the Guardian story is right, all the Yanks have to do is say no to all his demands and offer 70 instead of 50 Million, take it or leave it. He might just take it?

Thats what i think besred but maybe a figure near 55mil would be realisticly offered and hopefully accepted.

70m? ! We have no assets worth anything near that.

All the yanks have to do is offer another 20 million and he might just take it ? ! i'm hoping this is a joke, if not I really am amazed by some fans comments,

2tone, can you elaborate on the context of what amazes you? I'm interested to know your views.

Some talk of £20 million as though it is nothing.

Fawaz's arrival at Forest was generally warmly received with fans responding well to his promises, positive noises and his happy chappy persona. Over time he has lost virtually all of that good will with his erratic behaviour and irresponsible antics. The allegations made in the piece by Daniel Taylor - a highly respected journalist from a very credible newspaper - make truly shocking reading, and the demands it claims are being made by Fawaz would be laughable if it wasn't such a serious matter and so devastatingly damaging for the club. Fawaz now needs to hear loudly and clearly that 100% of FOREST fans want him 100% out of our club AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

2star-basically just how easy it is for someone to suggest that another 20 million could just be added to the price, take it or leave it. People forget that it is real money, paying 50 mill for what amounts to a shambles that is losing money every month is bad enough but to think that someone would just add 40% on top of the price is ridiculous. We all say the money in football/tv is crazy and then comments like this appear-madness all round.

£20 million is neither here nor there to someone like Moores nor some of the other buyers. At £50-£70 million I'd say the club was a snip to a multimillionaire for a club like ours, and investment would return quickly if we could get up to Premiership status within a couple of years.

Bsered- I'll say it again, I'm amazed that any one would still say things along those lines-surely as fans we need to be realistic with what we are and where we are going in the near future? Even if we got promoted in the next couple of seasons (and I mean to the prem, not back into the championship) we would need to be well established in the prem for years before we could even be close to breaking even let alone anyone getting a decent return on a 50-70 million investment. Cloud cuckoo land.

Bsred, if the club has so much potential how come every owner that has had a bash have had their fingers burned?

Moores got his money being clever and So I can't see him over paying for NFFC
Fawaz on the other hand has his money given to him by the family and money means little to him until His family said NO more now he wants as much as possible.

2 star there is nothing wrong with 2 tones answers and the way he thinks that's is beliefs and everybody is entitled to put what they think and believe in at the end of the day we're all forest fans I just wish there was some kind of compromise to suit everyone that would bring the club forward and get all of the fans together.

1978 spot on. that's why i think the deal will be nearer the 55 mill clean break and no board position for fawaz. As he owns a stately home in derbys he may have illussions of grandeur, turning up on matchdays in the directors box still being the savior lol.
