If the takeover is taking longer than usual it seems obvious to me that they are waiting to see which division we will be in. Once we drop into that bottom three I cannot see us getting out of it. The Americans are not stupid. We have had an owner for 5 years who appears to have come from Disney Land.

Jake64 i don't believe that is what is happening, we have a pretty good squad when fit as we proved at the beginning of the season and against Brum, all we need is a manager with Championship nous and a strong and vocal midfield general, also we will not be relegated so stop with all the doom and gloom we are Forest have faith😎.

Come on it's months too early to know which division we'll be in next year. I think this side is under-performing but remains confident they can play their way up the Championship once the ownership and maybe manager issues are resolved.

Sort the defence out and have a regular back four and then we'll move up the league, we need to buy/loan someone in Jan I think. We will score goals all season with our forwards no problem.

I wonder what odds you can get on the deal falling through? ! Something is rotten at the core of the club and everybody knows what it is! Although losing to a good team in Peterborough at the moment I can't understand why we didn't go for Phil Parkinson who had notable success before being snapped up by Bolton, bulding a good team of " nobodies " when the club are £200 million in debt ! PM is totally out of his depth and will take us down, lose against Ipswich and get rid before it's too late ! Another point on todays good game is the so called " legend " Birtles commentating ! Sky must be desperate!

Johnny, I'm with you. PM unless. A load of foreign flops signed who will do nothing. Forget the league position, forget the goals against, not comprehending that persevering with Patterson and Ward in the championship as opposed to non descript overseas players is a berometer of PM's ability to comprehend and master this league. Relegation a dead cert if he stays. If BD is still on the payroll he should be ordered back to make another silk purse from a sows ear. He should sort out this mess his behaviour helped to create, steer us from trouble, get himself in the shop window allowing us both to finally go our separate ways.

Thanks Redfrog, spot on with your comments! Contrary to some reports we CAN get rid of Montanier while this so called " takeover, is going through if we promote Jack Lester, even on a temporary basis! Or an alternative could be BD if he is reportedly still being paid by the club! Lose against Ipswich and its bottom 3! Regarding PM am i the only that has to watch his lips move to part understand him? !
