I just don't understand how, with the odd exception, the players don't appear to care! I remember playing pub football and 5 aside, and we always wanted to win ( we didn't very much, but hey ho! ) but everyone tried their best and had much more fight and passion. I thought it was something that came naturally, even when we played a charity game every Boxing Day, we would all have a laugh and take the pi55 out of each other before the match, but as soon as it started you ' got into it' and wanted to win! Perhaps today's players are just cosseted from a very young age and believe in their own impotence after years of not living in the real world. If only someone with some balls could come in and get rid of the people who don't play for the badge, regardless of the legal fallout I'm sure would follow regards to contracts etc our defence should be : he didn't care enough for his employers or his colleagues, so we don't want him, end of " if only this could happen, then at least future players would know they had to give everything or they'd be out. Wishful thinking I know, but the right time of year to dream I suppose!

The problem is quite straightforward! To footballers, it's just a job. nothing more! To fans it's there escape!

The crocs we have out on the pitch don't care: the youngsters do. Simples.

WE have been left with a load of Freebies and injured players by a man who boasted about being a millionaire and having the lifestyle to go along with it when in reality he lived on an a allowance from his family . The new owners should stick with what we have now until the end of the season there will be a lot of players who will end their contracts the loan players will go back, by which time we will see what younger players we have that can step up to the mark. any players still under contract should be assessed as to their worth to the club and if not valued either sold or released and contracts paid up. Only then can we start to rebuild.

I know to them it's just a job, and I suppose the point I was making was if a bunch of pub players have a mentality to win, or at least try their best, why don't the pros? I thought it was human nature! It really is the worst thing for a fan to see your players not caring.
