Didnt get to the game yesterday but I was expecting us to lose but obviously not get that kind of a drubbing. I still firmly believe that we are not going to get relegated as Rotherham are already dead and buried leaving two places left.
We still have to play Burton, Wigan and Blackburn and its 2 from that group who will go down.
On the Henderson Situation whilst you never want to see any player suffer a serious injury he has in my humble opinion always been a bit dodgy. Excellent shot stopper but not very commanding and a bit " flappy " with poor kicking to boot.
Very similar comments could be made about Stojkovic so stay with Smith until Evtimov is fit.
Terrible second yellow for Lichaj yesterday and he will be a miss at Fulham.
The midfield right now is a bit of a problem to me as at Villa last week Clough, Osbourne, Vaughn and Cash all started and I think omly two of those four can start as they are similar kinds of player.
At thge risk of plenty of friendly abuse on here I would leave out Cash ( as per yesterday) and Osbourne.
Both of them never stop running and give it their all but unfortunately don't seem to produce much in the final third.
Yes Osbourne scored a stunner against Bristol but I haven't seen him produce much more than that for sometime and don't think ha has progressed as well as he looked like doing. There we go I've said it so shoot me down in flames.
Hope Mancienne is back ( whose contract runs out in JUne? ) at the Cottage and start with Mcormack and Assabalonga up front.
Whilst I am on can someone brief me on how Tshibola did yesterday? .

Comments about Osbourne are fair. He doesn't look
strong enough against defenders. Yesterday he was predictable and made little impact, I agree, from what I saw yesterday, that his progression is uncertain. He is not a Premiership player despite his obvious talent. As for yesterday. Norwich gave us the middle third after half time and scored two good goals on the break. It was comfortable stuff for them. Thought Tshiola looked good on the ball. Bit of a cliche but we need someone in midfield who can command their area! (Shoot me down, but we needed three centre backs yesterday with Fox out of position so ofen)

Tshibola was dire imo. He was only making safe 6 yrd passes or falling over looking for the fouls because he was inept. For a big lad, i see why GB gave him a run out against Norwichs established midfield but Matty would have given better cover to the defence. It was the lack of cover as to why Foxy started playing more upfield as he was constantly under the cosh. Hobbsy can't push up as he is too slow getting back. DF cross field passes were to push Norwich back and get us attacking as we had no midfield. that's why Norwich were firing spectacular shots away from the midfield. Tshi bull rubbish was my impression of him after one game. GB left him on as the game had gone and tuesday is another chance for someone else imo.
