Charlie returning is progress of sorts but says more about Fawaz's tarnished reputation in the football world that we have signed an old boy on a temporary basis until the summer.

No manager or DofF is coming without a CEO in place so those CEO's in so called waiting need to be in June 1st to secure a decent manager and sort out the squad in an orderly manner.

The fact that Charlie has come whilst the Rangers resignation dispute is unresolved suggests that Charlie was the one fronting any alleged discussions about the job with Warburton.

So as things stand Fawaz is keeping all options open for a club sale, fire sale, or further investment in the summer?

The uncertainty continues with more smoke and mirrors!

Let's hope the new DofF gets to pick the team on Saturday?

This Frank bod seems to have a good track record of signing up and comers so maybe I might have to forgive his Scouser roots?

Hope he is open minded on the new manager and not just lining up jobs for the boys as he seems to be the brains behind the teams Warburton has put together.

Bit concerned about Warburton's character so let's see how this pans out?
