Just a take on the forum unfinished business on players who may come and go.

Gardner does not really fit the profile so I cannot see him coming

Lichaj is a good full back but rarely finishes the move going forward. He is settled here and is a good pro who we need this season at the back so I think he will see out his contract.

Mills does NOT fit the profile but is under contract and despite his shortcomings he is vocal which is missing from the squad. Really hope we can swap him for a quality Dawson like centre back?

One more box to box combative midfielder is a must for when the tica a taca football needs to go more direct?

Lowe, Luongo or Jackson offer different qualities for this role so we will see. Power seems a bit of a risk in terms of discipline?

In Warbo we trust to fit the jigsaw together and yes we do need an commanding experienced goalkeeper to compete at the top end this year!

Joe Ledley fits that description for me! Still without a club after leaving Crystal Palace, only 30 years old and could be that combative midfielder that we need.

I agree, with the tactics we're looking to adapt and still having the same defence as last season, we will have to outscore a lot of teams because unfortunately, that defence is still going to leak goals.

Warbo can't change his entire squad in one transfer window. I think he'll sign one or two more players. Then he may do some more business in January. that's just my opinion.

It will take MW a good couple of years to get the squad that he wants, the squad looks stronger than it did last year and we underperformed with what we had. Mid-table in Jan will be fine by me
get rid of some more deadwood and keep strengthening and hopefully next year be ready to make more of a challenge for playoffs!
