Nice to start the season as we have but we really need to sort the goalkepper and defence problems out.
Smith is a very very good young talent and as made some fantastic saves but looking at the goals he's conceded already this season cannot help think he's making to many basic errors at this level. He needs to be a number 2 here and learn the trade more ir drop a level or 2 to be a number 1.
The defence is a major concern Worrell was shocking yesterday, he didn't make any tackles and his passing was dreadful, He gave the ball away so many times in positions that put us under pressure in dangerous places, mind Mill's passing was poor as well to be honest but not as bad a Worrell.
We shouldn't be giving the ball away in and around the box through poor passing and also the amount of free kicks we give away around the box is a worry. At least there's about 3 weeks of transfer window left to bring in a goalkepper and defender. i'd be very suprised if we didn't bring players into these 2 positions .

I agree we need a CB in who is more confident on the ball.

We need experience in defence and Hobbs and Mancienne or Mills and Mancienne have performed well in the dougie era together with solid full backs ie LIcha and Traore.

Reality check fellow reds, from zeroes to heroes in a few games? I don't think so. Forest are work in progress under MW and the signs are good so far. The players are happy at the moment and I hope it stays that way, given his squad rotation. The Championship is as tough and competitive as it can get, plenty of ups and downs to come. Defensively we look dodgy at times, defenders don't make mistakes on purpose and hopefully Weir is working hard with them. Smith and Worrall are young men at the start of their careers, personally I excuse any errors, they do far more good than bad. Let's support our team because the future's bright, the future is Garibaldi. FTID.

Scouseduckred, you wasnt at the game yesterday obviously. Worrell didn't do more good then bad. He was garbage. Almost half his passers webt to the opposition in and around the box. A team like middlesbrough with assombalonga, bamford and guested or however you spell it would have ripped our center backs apart. Its not work in progress at the back its same garbage playing as last season start. Ie burton 4v3 win.

3 wins from 3 games, we all know we will lose eventually, it's how they respond to the set back. Worrall maybe dropped for the next game, as fans we have to let the management manage and trust their judgement. As an ex amateur defender myself, clean sheets are what defenders want. I'm sure Worrall is his own worst critic, even the best have bad games. Fans want him to succeed because he's one of ours. But if he doesn't make the grade, MW will drop him, no doubt. MW wants Forest to succeed, he keeps his job and boosts his CV. I've seen enough of Worrall to know he's raw and his decision making needs improving on. Of our CB's, he's behind Hobbs and Mancienne IMO. By the end of the season, he'll either be on loan or first choice. Big year for him, I hope it's the latter. 👍.
