How sad for young Burke, one season and his club are possibly looking to sell the lad, but not loaning him out. Palace are interested.

What's sad about it?
We got loads more than he was worth and the lad got a good earner and some life experience abroad.

He was expected to break in there first team last season. But was used as a sub a few times and wasnt up to the leap up in class. If they get 15m for him they ain't lost on him that be his trasfer fee and wages back for them. He as time on his side but i cannot see any top 4 teams wanting him now after the poor season he had. Although i cannot see hime getting much game time at palace though.

79. I say sad because the lad was not given a good run in the team he went to, i think he may have been forced on the manager, so the manager never gave him a proper chance. Perhaps i should have put what a shame.

yeah, poor lad! he got a massive signing on fee and now looks like he's getting another one plus decent wage too to play in the prem, wish i had them problems.

I imagine he'll end up at wolves or Middlesborough.

Give it to me then, it'd certainly make me happy.
I could play golf go fishing holiday and throw my tools away.
I've never seen a happy tramp.

79. If you have mental health problems, if you are bound to a wheelchair, heart problems or anything else you may think of is money the be all and end all then. I have different family members that have the above problems. It is great to have a laugh but sometimes life is not a bed of roses.

Happiness is supporting your favourite football team through thick and thin and having great banter even if one or two members go a little off piste now and then?

Bright we all have those problems with family members.
But we are talking footballers not life in general, I have someone very special who's had everything thrown at him in last three years and cancer on top.
Keep it to football mate.

79. I was keeping it to football, but when someone said because someone has money they must be happy my mind went to those family members and i thought they would swap their wealth for good heath. We do not know how footballers minds work, or how their lifes are from the spotlight. Apologies for going off topic.

Anyway guys apparently Oliver Burke has "big deficits in his tactical understanding"?

Having only seen brief glimpses of him I am sure this is true given that he seems to run in straight lines with his head down!

Hope he stays in Germany and learns his trade otherwise if he comes back to England he will not realise his potential and go the way of Bamford and others?

It's a thing with speedy wingers red remember Franz Carr when he first burst on the scene? looked a world beater for a very short time, but never progressed.
