Not overly bothered by the chelsea result i even predicted 5 1. Think warbo is right we have got a soft underbelly which will either toughen up get worse or change come january. I think we'll know where we are at in ten games or so time. Its just ashame that as fans that have been thru the mire like we have for the best part of 20 years and expectations are still ridiculously high how quickly a positive pre season turns so negatively after less than a dozen games. With some fans questioning the manager and team already and the groans being echoed around the cg after 20 mins of a match if we not playing well is bonkers and our great club may never move forward. I hope the early season promises are kept by the owners with consistency being the key otherwise i fear if the manager as is the case in modern football is only given 15 20 games to show improvement once again we will be having this conversation again next season and the season after. We got some of the best fans in the world who show loyalty beyond recognition but how demoralizing when every season we can't even get through the first couple of months before doom and gloom rear their ugly head.

Clough can you explain why velios has not been given a chance. Ppl rightly assume that warbo has seen a weakness in velios so does not rate him. So why use him pre season?? He scored 5 goals from the bench in 3 matches. Is that not what strikers do to get picked, score goals????. Brereton has scored zero has little effect yet is played every game. Hobbs does not even make matchday squad most sats yet is easily the best we have. This must eat at the squad and breed contempt. The fact eric cannot get in the team is also a mystery. He is not the best but plays with passion and has good delivery supporting the midfield and attack. Its just the strange decisions by warburton that baffles!!!!

5prob going to get shot for this but I think bereton is over rated by far he should go out on loan he's a young who who needs games in front of goal, I also am at a loss when it comes to Eric is it yet again a case of his face don't fit

I would normally agree about Brereton out wide, but when he came on late on the left wing last night he was actually pretty dangerous, hit the side netting and won a dangerous free kick on the edge of the area.

But it would be good to see him get a chance up top with another.

I cannot believe that MW cannot see what everyone else can. He has blooded the newbies and youth and does not need 10/12 games to tell him what he should already know?

Lichaj, Hobbs, Vellios, Carayol need to be getting more game time and we need Vaughan and Wards bite back in midfield. Darikwa needs deploying further up the park with Osborn so we defend and play a passing game in the opposition half NOT staring on the 6 yard box with the centre back in slow motion?

Same reason as jurgen klopp can't,they have a style and way of playing and stick to it.
Not saying it's right or wrong,but they won't change no matter what criticism they get.
Ultimately results will decide their fate,think we just need to get behind him,if we start a losing run without picking up points,then that is the time to worry,
So let's go to villa and turn them over and put the final nail in Bruce's coffin,We owe him that for the duds he's sold us.
