Did you see it?

Ben Osborn getting stuck in. Jordan Smith commanding his 6 yard box and plucking crosses out of the air.

This season and the long term future of the club depends largely on how our young talent develops. Joe Worrall still has the odd lapse, but he was solid as a rock for most of the game.

I hope Ben Brererton goes away and scores a goal or two for England. He needs to remember what a great prospect he is.

In the nicest possible way I hope Vaughan Hobbs and Cohen never play again. Not because they are past it, but because the younger lads are playing so well they can't be dropped to bring the experienced players back.

It is a gamble and Warburton is brave for sticking with it, but if the young lads survive they will only get better.

Sheffield Utd were a big strong physical side and tried to bully us. Our young lads stood up to the bullies and we all know bullies hate it when you do that.

Not a brilliant performance, but a very significant one.

Smith has been getting better for weeks. We should definitely stick with him no doubt. Brereton, as the weeks pass has more and more to prove. We have far better players who should be in front of him. Hopefully once cash and ward are fit they will be ahead of him in the pecking order. I wonder if a lone spell might help BB?

Brereton has been a lone all season out wide on the right! Time to bring him home and play him off Murphy rotating him with Cummings?

Can't agree with not having Vaughan in the side. We are much better with him, and miss his crunching tackles in midfield.

I'd say your right red,Cummings looks good but lacks the fitness to last 90 mins at the moment, but that will come.
Only way I can see him playing 2 up is with wing backs though.
We are certainly more of a threat with that system.
Problem point though is darikwa,he got slaughtered yesterday and even got a rollicking off warbo.
Need to bring Eric in as the wing back or right back, lost count of how many goals darikwa has cost us indirectly with his ball watching.

I can't get my head around this lichaj darikwa situation ? I could understand it if warbs had never had Eric in the team but he was ever present last season even under MW. It's as frustrating as when clough kept playing Gary Charles in front of laws all those years ago. No matter how poor Charles was he kept him in despite the fact laws was a rock at right back

Managers stick stubornly to certain players. Warbo brought Darikwa in and may feel he looks to have made a mistake if he brings Eric back. Stuborn.
