Nice to see the greatest keeper giving praise to jordan smith , shilts was the best , can't beat encouragement from a legend.

Never quite got the criticism of Smith. Seemed to me everyone jumped on that bandwagon when MW started looking for a keeper.

Ultimately Smiths shot stooping ability far outweighs his inability to kick straight. His distribution is improving, he made another top save Saturday. All's good between the sticks I reckon.

Lets get behind the lad.

Jordan Smith is an honest lad and has stated that he has a lot to learn. He is correct and he is doing just that. He is a better keeper now than 6 months ago,

Osborn is a brilliant young talent. Can he improve? You bet he can. When he does I hope he is still a Forest player.

Good shot stopper. Positioning and distribution lots to work on. Personally my goalkeeper would be one of my best players in the team, he isn't. Not his fault but getting a top keeper would still be a priority in January.

I think Smith will be a top class keeper but he needs to learn. I think our issue is that we want and sometimes need the finished article now rather than in the future. I think the best course of action would be to get in an experienced keeper with good positional awareness and a strong command of his area, that way we have someone who smith can learn from and who will be good competition for him.
