Report saying players happy with GB , the dressing room is good and Fawaz wants Gary till the end of the season.

163red

1.) 03 Feb 2017 15:33:10
I posted this a couple of days ago and Nigel Clough will come in in the summer.

2.) 03 Feb 2017 15:38:59
Fawaz has had no choice, everybody he has approached has turned him down, so now he keeps Brazil, and Lester while he sorts out the off field staff, then work on bringing in a manager in the summer.

3.) 03 Feb 2017 19:02:50
Players are happy if they play, they get a play bonus which makes them happy. I'd be more happy if they had just a win bonus. Then we would see who's happy.

4.) 03 Feb 2017 19:29:45
Spot on Holly. After all most of us only get out of bed because we have to pay the bills, rather than having the option to stay in and be happy because we get paid anyway? Too many players with no real incentive to perform because of previous contracts!

5.) 03 Feb 2017 20:12:59
Nigel Clough will only be coming here in the summer for a pre season friendly with relegated Burton in preparation for a season in league one - where he belongs.

6.) 04 Feb 2017 09:42:40
Im not a big fan of Nigel but that is harsh.

7.) 04 Feb 2017 14:26:30
It perhaps is harsh it's just I don't want him near the club as manager as I feel it will be the same as Pearce. In that end that experience become so embarrassing for both parties that it become unbearable painful.

8.) 04 Feb 2017 20:40:05
Since GB has been in charge we look like well organised team who actually have a plan. What a massive contrast to 3 weeks ago. I have to concede after all my negativity I actually feel optimistic with the club. Give gb the
Job.

19 Jan 2017 18:51:39
JjMoores has made another bid for 100% of the club. Reports saying Fawaz has rejected it.

163red

1.) 19 Jan 2017 19:11:11
Confirmed, this was tweeted by Paul Taylor less than an hour ago, if this is true it proves that Fawaz is intent on taking the club out of the football league, why else would he not do the decent thing and let someone else try and save it? The man is an absolute disgrace, he is the single worst thing to ever happen to our club.

2.) 19 Jan 2017 19:14:57
Of course he rejected it. He always said he wanted to keep 20% during this takeover.

3.) 19 Jan 2017 19:56:31
If this is correct then Fawaz Al-Hasawi hang your head in shame, don't ever repeat the words I love this club, I want wants best for the club, you are an utter disgrace .

4.) 19 Jan 2017 20:04:27
He did say he would sell outright if the offer was good enough. Maybe there maybe another buyer waiting in the wings and he's waiting for this to blow over OR maybe he's been given the green light to use more of the family money.

5.) 19 Jan 2017 21:40:44
Just read a report by the Americans saying that 100% takeover was the preferred deal wanted by Fawaz . That's on sly sports so seems people slagging him off for trying to keep 20% have got it wrong.

6.) 20 Jan 2017 07:48:48
only way to make fawaz sell is to boycott all home games. hurt him in is pocket,

7.) 20 Jan 2017 10:37:41
Not for the loyal season ticket holders as we have already paid. Majority of occasional supporters don't bother at the moment so I don't think we will force a sale by staying away

20 Dec 2016 16:18:26
Reports on the be saying Fawaz has put a ban on any new contracts until the takeover has been completed. Also saying Lansbury and Worrall could be in doubt because of this but they are contracted till the summer and surely it won't take that bloody long to complete.

163red

1.) 20 Dec 2016 16:44:47
It's feasible to believe contracts will be on hold until the takeover is complete. The worry thing is other clubs can offer contracts for next season in January. I'd like to think we would get compo if Worrall was to be pinched though as he's U21.

2.) 20 Dec 2016 17:06:52
Dear me, do people not read or even understand the fact nothing can be done while we are in the exclusivity period.

3.) 20 Dec 2016 18:34:37
It did mention something about compensation if Worrall were to be sold. Ask nffc85 he seems to know it all!

4.) 20 Dec 2016 18:52:07
I understand that nothing will be done during the exclusivity period, what I didn't understand is why reports are saying that we will lose Lansbury and Worrall because of it. If they are contracted till the summer why would this happen? Surely the takeover is imminent.

5.) 20 Dec 2016 19:35:03
Lansbury can agree a pre-deal with another club in January to then leave in the summer on a Bosman free. Birmingham are sniffing around and are wanting him, the club needs to get this sorted asap.

6.) 20 Dec 2016 20:28:45
A sensible answer, thankyou. Makes sense now.

7.) 21 Dec 2016 13:40:51
Thought pre-dontract deals in Jan only applied to transfers abroad! ? Not Birmingham!

06 Aug 2016 11:06:04
According to reports we are looking at bringing back Mcgugan back.

163red

1.) 06 Aug 2016 11:29:18
Who's mcgugan back play for.

2.) 06 Aug 2016 11:43:48
Huddersfield Town.

3.) 06 Aug 2016 12:40:23
Yeah maybe should of read that back before I sent it. Interesting that u chose to comment on my typing skills rather than Lewis Mcgugan but I have to agree he is not that interesting and wouldn't want him back here.

4.) 06 Aug 2016 14:22:10
Even through his goals undoubtedly made a gargantuan contribution In getting two pops at the playoffs.

I don't get the Mcgugan negativity, he won us many football games in a side that we ve come no where near emulating since, as a football fan that's what matters to me. He wasn't disruptive, he didn't go on strike be loved playing for forest.

And when I say nowhere near I mean nowhere near.

5.) 06 Aug 2016 14:51:42
However he was a lazy player that imo never fulfilled the talent that he had, he only seemed to want to play when it suited him.

6.) 06 Aug 2016 18:04:57
Nothing against the lad so keep ya wig on. Just rather go forward not backwards.

7.) 06 Aug 2016 18:33:19
Back to something that was better is going forward.

8.) 06 Aug 2016 23:20:23
A very talented player who had a phenominal season for us under Davies. But his attitude stank, he was lazy, and to be fair struggled to get in the Sheff Weds team last season. Not sure he's what we need.

9.) 07 Aug 2016 07:40:33
Back to something better? We've only played one game how do you know what will happen this season?

10.) 08 Aug 2016 12:45:35
Would we play him ahead of Osborn, Burke, Lansbury, Kasami? I don't think so. Based on Cash's performance yesterday, him too.

30 May 2016 07:14:56
Greek deal on hold as Olympiacos player kidnapped by Mexicans . This could only happen to Forest. Not saying it's true but just read it. What next?

163red

1.) 30 May 2016 07:36:31
Funny enough companies hous is already showwing that shares purchased onn may 6th so some innvestment in place. Rumoured that another unvezstor is beinng chased so nothing is on hold. The anouncement is boogged down by fa red tape. You have to remember its the closed season and bank holiday so the over paid officals are on a sun lounger with a 4 corner hanky on their head.

2.) 30 May 2016 07:56:56
BBC reporting about the kidnapping, player is now safe so all is ok.

3.) 30 May 2016 08:33:18
I can think of a few forest players i wouldn't mind being kidnapped.

4.) 30 May 2016 09:52:18
There is one or two players at forest they might have been kidnapped! Not seen them all season even when they have meant to be on the pitch.

5.) 30 May 2016 10:09:18
Wern, t we held to randsom with MA, WHU stole him for 7M wasn, t, it was daylight robbery?
CARLO.

6.) 30 May 2016 10:48:45
Is the bloke we saw masquerading as Andy Reid (who got kidnapped a couple of years ago) our new fat Greek owner.

7.) 30 May 2016 11:17:43
Hey kebabs at half time.

8.) 30 May 2016 11:48:45

Just heard PM has had a two match ban and a 3grand fine for swearing at the ref at Sheffield Wednesday . Seems he is picking up the lingo nicely!

163red

1.) 10 Oct 2016 19:24:57
Good passion in our manager just what I like to see.

2.) 10 Oct 2016 19:50:59
When will refs have any retribution for an appalling game that can cost a club at the end of a season.

It's good to see some passion from our head coach.

3.) 10 Oct 2016 20:24:56
Yet players are seen swearing on camera at refs week in week out and don't get punished.

4.) 11 Oct 2016 04:11:45
163ed how can PM be done for swearing at the ref when he can only just manage to speak english! Possibly the referee spoke french and he was able to translate. Good for PM someone has to tell these guys that they can be wrong.

5.) 11 Oct 2016 08:53:07
I agree with the above posts. However, let's be fair refereeing is very tough. Years ago I did some at school level and things happen so quickly mistakes are inevitable. Don't people agree that using technology as in cricket and rugby would go a long way to eliminating the kind of errors that enrage fans and can turn games?

6.) 11 Oct 2016 12:52:50
Thing is with that dr n is that there wouldn't be any cheating going on if it was all done like that.

7.) 11 Oct 2016 16:33:03
I don't bloody know Humourist, I'm just repeating what I've read. That's why I added that he is picking up the lingo. There is a lot of feffing and jeffing at football matches and he's obviously a quick learner.

19 Jul 2016 18:33:19
Been reading a lot lately about team line ups and the general coming and going of players and just realised nothing has been mentioned about Vaughn. Not seen him in any of the training photos either. Has anybody heard anything?

163red

1.) 19 Jul 2016 19:07:03
The poor soul will either be knackered, or injured after playing for Wales.

2.) 19 Jul 2016 20:31:24
No Vaughan or Ward.

3.) 19 Jul 2016 21:01:53
Vaughan and Ward will not be back with forest as they were at euros 2 weeks ago and will be on holiday. Could be back this week possibly.

4.) 19 Jul 2016 21:37:05
Don't think Vaughan played any minutes at the euros can't be that tired.

5.) 19 Jul 2016 20:45:08
Is Vaughan on ward.

10 Jan 2016 18:44:27
Reports saying Henry's X-rays showing no fracture. Mri scan tomorrow to check for ligament damage.

30 Nov 2015 15:26:51
I'm a happy clapper. Eight points off the playoffs. You reds!

163red

1.) 01 Dec 2015 06:46:02
Just to carry on from my own post if we hadn't conceded late goals and managed to see those games out we would of been right up there. Fine margines.

2.) 01 Dec 2015 11:03:25
They have places for people like you 163red. 🏥😊😊😊.

3.) 01 Dec 2015 14:46:36
We are eight points off and have lost at least that by not seeing games out. Press the Disagree button all you like but that is a fact.

4.) 01 Dec 2015 11:47:53
So we haven't thrown at least eight points away then? Explain the bit you don't understand! Like I said, fine margines. Could go for you could go against you. If you don't believe in luck then watch a couple of Burnley or Derby games. Carry on being negative, I'm here to support my team.

5.) 01 Dec 2015 17:39:06
163 are you arguing with yourself.

6.) 01 Dec 2015 19:30:28
Yes I appear to be. I posted those at different times but they've come on at the same time making me look a bit potty. Maybe if other posters put something up and not just sit there pressing the disagree button it would be a bit more interesting . obviously now someone will press it again.! You reds.

7.) 01 Dec 2015 21:23:55
Good lad 163red I love your positivity and I didn't realise we were that close to the playoffs! I have only been looking down lately, come on you reds!

8.) 02 Dec 2015 06:53:44
This league is so tight we were two points above the drop zone and with one win eight off the playoffs. That's what I was trying to say. Fine margines.

9.) 02 Dec 2015 08:44:57
yet again people talking of playoffs lol, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. if we are within touching distance with 5 games to go then I will join you in optimism but until then I wouldn't bother.

10.) 02 Dec 2015 09:49:43
Totally agree mighty reds but don't put lol in your post people don't like it lol.

11.) 02 Dec 2015 18:26:09
Wasn't saying we will make the playoffs, just saying our position is not as bad as it looked the other day. Whatever you write on here someone will come on and put their own spin on it.

05 Aug 2015 16:03:20
I see now we have paid off Abdoun he has walked into another job. Some Greek side have signed him literally a couple of days after leaving . This really winds me up. Have we missed out on a few bob? Surely we could of got at least a million for him. What did we pay for him, was it 2.5 mil?

163red

1.) 05 Aug 2015 17:01:57
We payed bout 2m euros for him 1.7m ish

2.) 05 Aug 2015 18:22:55
There were clubs after both radi and abdoun but they could not afford to pay a fee AND pay there wages.

3.) 05 Aug 2015 19:14:41
At least he can only withdraw €420 a week in cash?
That's about right. ;) lol

4.) 05 Aug 2015 18:12:29
Can he play striker? I hear were after good players with europa league experience.

5.) 05 Aug 2015 20:34:21
I think it was necessary to just get rid at any cost, so DF can get a proper team spirit in the dressing room.

6.) 06 Aug 2015 07:27:32
163 Red Its not the selling on fee that was a problem as other teams seem to also be in a financial straightjacket even if not restricted by FFP its the weekly wage of Radi & Abdoun which has probably cost us more than 2 million for players not even kicking a ball for us.
I say well done to whoever managed to get these two off the books.

7.) 06 Aug 2015 15:45:22
I'm just saying it would be nice to recoup some money now and again.

Villa said they've bought a dead ball specialist. They've obviously never seen Henri take a free kick. The funny thing is they had a bloke who really can hit em and they've loaned him to us. Nice one !

That happens because players pull their fingers out and put the effort in which soon goes out the window and things go back to how they were. Leicester getting rid of him now obviously means they have no faith in him which must mean they consider last season was a fluke!
