What on Earth is happening at Rangers? Why have we sent Worrall there to rot on the bench? It's early days but the lad ain't getting much of a look in. Our defence is getting better with recent additions but I don't understand why we are paying Dawson a fair whack to warm our bench when Worrall would be adequate and significantly cheaper.

Worrell played in the European cup the other night for ranges maybe he is not full match fit yet to play week in week out.

2.) 24 Sep 2018 06:40:56
Heff and fox are faultless at the moment Binns , why would you want to replace either of them? Apart from a lucky deflection we’ve been solid in the last 3 games. I don’t understand where you’re coming from there.

3.) 24 Sep 2018 11:03:21
It's also good that the lads experiencing big crowds at ibrox, puts him in a good place ready for the English premiere league next season

4.) 24 Sep 2018 15:13:45
I'd prefare us to make at least 7 changes for cup game
Steel Dawson figs concalves Dias yocab bridgcutt
And it will still be a good 11

5.) 24 Sep 2018 17:44:31
It would not surprise me to see eleven changes.

Anybody know what's happening with Cohen?

I saw him and his family outside PC World at Castle Marina on Saturday at around 12noon.

Bad news though. He had plasters on both knees. Not sure how bad his injury is but I know a fit Cohen would a be big plus right now.

Sounds like you've been on some rough carpets?lol😁

Based on previous seasons we need around 14 points from the next 39. Essentially we need to draw every game. Or 3 wins 5 draws. Honestly I just don't see it. I know we are only 2/ 3 of the season in and that it is a little early to be pushing the panic button. All the same, if we don't pick up at least 4 from the next three I'd really start to think about League 1.

Wigan, Brentford, Burton, Preston, Wolves, Blackburn, QPR and Ipswich are all winnable games. I really hope you're trolling and not being serious.

forest will get no more than 11 points from these games, and even doutbful about that many.

3.) 25 Feb 2017 06:32:29
Based on previous seasons? last season 41 points would of kept you up! season before 42 would of kept your up. season before that 45 would of kept you up. so based on the last three seasons 9points will do it. there's only two places left as Rotherham are down.

4.) 25 Feb 2017 08:49:08
All winnable. Brentford are a very good side, QPR, Ipswich are just finding form so as much as I'd like to agree I can't see us beating all of these 3. the way we are lining up. I've backed GB. like to see Clough Brett and McCormack play. surely there's a simple system to allow them?

5.) 25 Feb 2017 09:16:01
Come on boys how many wins for a play off place? Glass half full please!

6.) 25 Feb 2017 23:51:58
I didn't say we would win them all, I said they are winnable. They're teams that on the day can be beaten. Ipswich finding form? Last 5 games they've drawn 3, won 1 lost 1. Great form. QPR, lost 3 won 2. Brentford won 2 lost 2 drawn 1. The teams in this league are so hit and miss, now it's coming to the end of the season and teams are safe/ unable to get playoffs might help us out.

Sorry I'm a bit more optimistic than you morbid sods.

Would love to be turning my thoughts to the rebuilding project ready for next season, but relegation is a very real possibility. Played well at times under GB, but the honeymoon is over.

A lot of injuries and a lot of inexperience. The next 3 games will define our season and maybe even the next 3 years.

Binns

1.) 21 Feb 2017 06:46:34
We lose against Wigan then we really should start worrying with tough games coming up against Brighton, Burton and the sheep, don't you just know Wigan will be more up the fight than Forest!

2.) 21 Feb 2017 15:13:54
I remember yonks ago when Wigan had a sloping pitch and was dreadful to play on as a result, except for Wigan off course.

Seen today that Mo Besic might be available from Everton. Middlesbrough are sniffing and you can understand why after being on loan there last season. He is still only 25 and a Bosnian international. Forget Colback. Besic would be an incredible acquisition.

1.) 22 Jun 2018 15:28:10
Did he have a big injury?

27 Dec 2017 22:33:13
Can barely believe what I'm reading on here these days. People slagging off players and calling for Warbos head. Absolute rubbish born out of unrealistic expectations. We are exactly were we deserve to be. The club has been systematically ran into the ground over the last 5 years and we are in recovery.

Last season we was very nearly relegated to League 1, so this season can be nothing more than consolidation. Still a lot of dead weight on the books and a lot of talented young lads finding there feet. The board and fans alike need to support the management team and give them at least 2 years to implement the changes needed before criticising them.

Binns

1.) 27 Dec 2017 22:39:23
Well said binns

2.) 27 Dec 2017 22:40:59
Never a better post binns

3.) 27 Dec 2017 22:56:29
If you’re going to go down that road let’s get the facts straight. We’ve been run into the ground for twenty years not just 5.

4.) 27 Dec 2017 23:07:08
Lovely sentiments but meanwhile, in the real world, a poor run of results usually costs a manager his job. I'm not saying it's the right decision but it's a reality. Truth is, I was bemused by MW's team selections last season. Yes we were on the edge of cliff but he was playing around with the team. Remember Brentford at home? 3-0 down before he put players on who should've started? Ended 2-3, no points. Blackburn at home 0-1, MW in charge, worst performance in a long time. My point is we survived not because of MW but in spite of him. He used to be a banker, playing with other peoples money, now he's a football manager (allegedly) playing with our football club. If he gets results he stays, if he doesn't he goes. Simple. As for 2 years, not a cat in hells chance. Football, all about opinions.👍

5.) 27 Dec 2017 23:26:38
The thing is, Binns, we've lost 6-1 on aggregate to an abject, low mid table, out of sorts, playoff hungover team with injury problems and no manager. We've given them silly goals passing it around at the back, like the first of those six. We've played people out of position. They've failed to win in seven games and beat us 3-0 at home. You can quote work in progress all you like but should we be that much worse than another struggling team? Its the constant shuffling of the pack to accommodate favoured players out of position over unfavoured ones in the right position that grates. 90% of fans genuinely think MW doesn't know his best 16, let alone his best 11.

12 Sep 2017 23:05:52
Ugly win tonight, but something is very different from the last 5 seasons. We have quality coming on from the bench. McKay gave us a bit edge and set up the winner. And if it's him, Clough, Brereton and Dowell are just as capable. Reasons to be cheerful.1. 2. 3.

Binns

1.) 12 Sep 2017 23:32:09
Bob on, I love an ugly win. MW said the players were angry about criticism, good so they should be. Well done to all concerned and same again Sat please.

2.) 12 Sep 2017 23:34:07
Well if nothing else we certainly have 'the hoodoo' over the North East clubs this season - Boro,Newcastle,Sunderland - roll on the Hull game!

3.) 13 Sep 2017 00:13:04
Great win trickies great feeling sheep lost lansbury sent off happy days !!!😁😁😁

Assombawonga was dropped from Middlesbrough's starting XI tonight due to his poor performance against us 😂😂😂.

I doubt he was dropped every team in the championship makes loads of changes because there just not interested in this cup.

Starting to think relegation might be a good thing.

Of course this will mean asset stripping before Fawaz ultimately sells, but it does get rid of him and we have a good enough youth system to rebuild over a couple of years.

Massive step back to go forwards, but it seems like the only way.

Binns

1.) 17 Feb 2017 12:13:00
You what mate!? Was hard enough getting out the last time! 😨😨😨.

2.) 17 Feb 2017 12:25:26
Fawaz is a not the problem. It is the people he has listened to that are the problem.

Why are we carrying so much debt? Because he keeps sacking perfectly good managers, while continuing to pay them. Billy Davies has only recently disappeared from the payroll. A pound to a penny we are still paying Montanier as well as giving Brazil and Lester a pay rise and paying Rob Page to fill in with coaching duties.

What about the players Montanier recruited? Now all lost without trace. If the six of them are on an average of £10k a week, that is over £3m in wasted salaries.

When did we stop paying Freedman? It wasn't the day he was sacked that is for sure.

If we had stuck with Managers like ODriscoll, Pearce, Freedman or even daft Billy we would not be in so much debt right now.

If we stopped all the daft boycotts and increased our average gate by just 5000. It would bring in an additional revenue from tickets sale alone of £2.5 million.

On the current market Brererton, Osborn and Cash would get us a minimum of £20 million. Not a nice thought but I could pick a team for the Shef Wed games without those three in it and it would not look bad at all.

Get real, get positive and get behind the club. Note I said the club not Fawaz.

3.) 17 Feb 2017 12:27:01
You must be mad to think that.

4.) 17 Feb 2017 13:22:18
Wishy. " Fawaz is not the problem"!

What planet are you on? Or What have you been drinking as I need a pint of whatever it is!

5.) 17 Feb 2017 13:40:50
North I think he's on the waccy baccy lol 😁.

6.) 17 Feb 2017 14:43:57
Nigel Doughty and Mark Arthur stood up to the gobby protesters, before calling it a day because of diabolical levels of abuse.

Fawaz is getting the same abuse for what?

Sacking O'Driscoll protesters said was not sexy enough
Bringing back Davies because protesters wanted their Billy back.
Sacking Pearce because the protesters thought we were going to get relegated.
Sacking Freedman because the protesters said he was not attacking enough.

The list goes on, but try and find the protester who lobbied for all these things and they are as thin on the ground as green tops during the Nigel Doughty memorial tribute.

I am not defending Fawaz, I am merely pointing out the root cause!

7.) 17 Feb 2017 16:22:39
Fawaz is the Root of all the problems .
IF he had come in with a proper structure The cub would not have been in turmoil last 4.5 years.
Stop trying to get all of these Foreign Players who are no good on loan and get players who know this division.

8.) 17 Feb 2017 20:11:18
I think the turmoil started long before fawaz. fawaz is just bearing the brunt of something that started to manifest long before this.

It’s transfer deadline day and for a change there is absolutely no need to be on here! The bulk of our business was done weeks ago with the new signings even getting some minutes under their belts. Feels good watching our club conducting business in the proper manner.
