Ed, what is your honest opinion on the Lascelles and Darlow situation?
{Ed034's Note - doesn't seen enough money to me. Pearce has said players will be sold if he can use it straight away to improve the squad.
We have them back on a season long loan, so do not need to replace.
When lascelles leaves next summer we have the young Spanish lad waiting.
Until we see what Pearce has up his sleeve, I can see how we can say if has helped us or it hasn't.
1.) It will be interesting to see what he has to say on radio at 6pm. To me something does not seem right.
2.) Maybe the money being mentioned is not accurate. Let's wait until it is confirmed as the media don't always get it exactly right. Just last week I read Lukaku was going for 24 million only to see a few hours later that he had signed for 28 million.
If the fee is rising to 10 million for example, it is not a bad deal especially as we seem to be getting them back for the season. On that note, if we were injury free, I don't think Lascelles would get much game time for us this year. If he is not a regular starter for a Championship club, how much can he really be worth?
3.) Yeah, it is rather silly to start presuming. Roll on the interview and I think everyone will understand.

First of all good luck to Henderson but what happened to the Brit Assombalonga deal? Word seems to have died down a bit.
1.) I don't think Posh want to sell. They sold Gayle to Palace for £6mill which was a hefty fee. don't think we will spend that much money on one player.

Anybody see if Cox and Mackie worked well together upfront? Both scored so there may be something in it
{Ed034's Note - they played together a few times at the start of last season and I thought they looked a good combination. Pulled defenders all over the shop
1.) Not really a competitive enough match to make a judgement.
Both huffed and puffed as usual and took easy goal chances.
Both confirmed what we already know that with one on ones with the keeper the keeper invariably wins!
I hear that SP has loaned the club his barn doors from home for them both to come in early to practice hitting!
Most likely not going to happen. If it does then I doubt anyone would disagree.
