Rumoured of being in for another midfielder Pedro Chirivella from liverpool. James Pearce from the Echo claims liverpool want £5million for him. Swansea also in for him.

Yes have read that Clayton. Apparently Liverpool could manoeuvre on asking price. I am not sure if we need another defensive midfielder though?

Looking at the Liverpool gossip they say he won't be a great loss so would he be able to cut it in the Championship? Haven't seen anymore news on the possibility of a loan move for Ben Woodburn.

I’ve seen Chirivella play a few times as my dad is a Liverpool fan. So seen him in a few u23 games the season before last as well as a few cameo appearances for the first team. I personally think he’s a good player and can be a quality player at this level, very good defensively and also looks for the killer pas. He’s also decent on the ball. He’d replace Geddy or Bridcutt and likely be third choice unless he played ahead of Colback.
Chirivella and Watson would be a good CDM partnership. With Colback and Geddy/Bridcutt as back ups. Solid!

ahh interesting to hear that mate, I can honestly say I've never seen him play.
I suppose its about trusting Karanka to make the move if he feels its a worthy addition, bring on the season ahead :)

I’m only basing what’ I have said based on about 7 matches but from what I saw he did look a decent player. I had a quick check on the Liverpool page and I’ve seen a few say he could potentially be a decent backup behind Fabinho and Henderson. So if he signs then seems promising!
I agree with you Clayton, we have to trust AKs decisions. This season is hopefully going to be a good one, roll on the new season

None of it will come to anything colback and Watson are karankas choice and he has bridcutt and geddy plus Yeats as back up

If you believed half of it we'd have signed Marriott hughill and about twenty more.

Yes but Ff Karanka has been quoted as saying that he could sign more if the deal was right. That's whether Byram is signed or not.

Any update on Byram and Colback? it does look on paper that they're the two targets to fill the two additions Karanka wants. I'd be happy with that.
