Bamford has got another 2 so far this evening. Keeps this up and AK will have no chance of signing him in the summer, "if" he is a target.

1.) 02 Mar 2018 22:20:34
Make it three and we can't afford him anyways,Just like Clayton.
We arn' t shopping in that market.

2.) 03 Mar 2018 08:02:48
A goal every 205 mins and 1 assist this season in the championship!hardly someone you want to go out and buy for silly money is it!
Funny how a player has 1 good game get an hat trick then social media blows up.fact is he’s an average championship striker.

3.) 03 Mar 2018 19:41:49
Got a feeling bamf is going to be another Jordan Rhodes. Tens of millions spent by many clubs for a overhyped player.

4.) 03 Mar 2018 20:56:59
I disagree. I think he has quality. Good feet, clever football brain. He just lacks a bit of pace but that never stopped Sherringham.

5.) 04 Mar 2018 00:59:47
FF79 Marakanis will make the funds available in the Summer for Karanka to bring in the players he needs. Others will be moved on.

Next season Forest will be challenging top of half of the table. No more 54 goals conceded after 35 games.

Progress on and off the pitch has been made.

6.) 04 Mar 2018 13:30:35
Until we learn how to defend crosses into our box we'll be nowhere near the top six. Yet another goal conceded from a set piece. Vital 3 points yesterday though should pretty much ensure another season in the championship. 3 more points against the sheep please.

7.) 05 Mar 2018 14:10:31
I agree to an extent but it was never a corner in the first place - not in a million years.

8.) 05 Mar 2018 17:05:22
Thats the trouble 2star both teams are not just playing against each orher, the officials aswell.

If we are to be a top six side we need to be able to play both so to say.

31 Jan 2018 11:21:50
Burnley said to be coming back in with an improved offer for Worral, with the way signings are being made e.g loans and freebies I wouldn't be at all surprised if they take the money and we have another prospect sold off. Dealings so far give the impression money is tight.

1.) 31 Jan 2018 11:36:12
Well just aftet I posted that it’s in the press we have slapped 20milliion price on him.Going to be a long day!!!

2.) 31 Jan 2018 11:37:01
Yup! reminds me of when we sold Burke for 12 million and signed Lica for 200k! If Worrall gets sold and this Portuguese loanee is his replacement i'd be rather miffed

3.) 31 Jan 2018 11:38:51
Reported £20 million price tag. If they want to flash the cash. fair play!

02 Jan 2018 14:59:54
Roy Keane pictured at the game yesterday. Suite, shirt and tie, job interview?

1.) 02 Jan 2018 15:41:44
Does the quality of his suit and tie make him a good manager No
Is he the right man for the job IMO No as he hap poor management skills,

2.) 02 Jan 2018 15:43:21
Wasn’t redknapp there as well?

3.) 02 Jan 2018 15:45:13
That doesn’t sound right to me , who has given you the info that Roy Keane was at Elland road.

4.) 02 Jan 2018 17:10:11
He was scouting his Irish squad players

5.) 02 Jan 2018 17:21:16
Calm down guys, just posting what is already out there. It was on a sports web site with a photo to go with, true or not I can't say for sure.Just thought if it was true someone might know something?? Not saying he is the right man for the job but who knows he might have mellowed a bit and learned from Martin.Personally I think both together would be a good shout.

6.) 02 Jan 2018 18:32:38
Just shows how dumb some people are then, Daz. Put 2 and 2 together and come up with 76.

7.) 02 Jan 2018 19:06:44
‘Keano in crowd today…’

‘Please come home.’

‘Would love him back. ’

‘Hero. Legend.’

All quoted from Sunderland fans in October 2017! He won the Championship title for them.

I'd prefer him to Karanka.

8.) 02 Jan 2018 20:26:55
Please not Keane. Remember what he did to Alf Inge Haaland?

9.) 02 Jan 2018 20:48:30
Nice to see the chairman was in attendance and looking busy. Even better there was no sign of

10.) 02 Jan 2018 20:50:03
I remember what he did for forest, great player for us.
Could do with steel and leadership now in our midfield instead of 5ft and 7stone weaklings

11.) 02 Jan 2018 21:09:33
I heard Keane was at the home game agaisnt sunderland rather than the game agaisnt Leeds as well as redknapp

12.) 02 Jan 2018 21:54:05
Malcky Mackay, Ian Holloway, Steve Bruce, Sean Dyche, Nigel Pearson, Harry Redknapp, Eddie Howe, Alex Neil, Jokanovic, Sean Dyche, Aitor Karanka, Steve Bruce, Chris Hughton, Rafa Benitez, David Wagner.

Notice how few of them are not British anyone? Only four of the last 15 promoted managers were not from UK/Ireland! Overseas managers have a bad record in the Championships.

Give me Keane, O'Neill or Monk based on that statistic please!

Just saying.

13.) 02 Jan 2018 22:09:00
I remember seeing keanes first game, thrust in against the then nightly Liverpool. Marked the then mercurial John Barnes out of the game. A complete psychopath but defo in my top five favourite players. Jesus Pearce laws and Keane all the same team . .ouch! Young Nigel wasn’t scored of mixing it either .

14.) 02 Jan 2018 22:54:28
They were the days 2star! I do have a soft spot for Cloughie as well but I reckon Keane or Monk would sort this bunch of soft touches out and sign a midfield enforcer without hesitation. Rocket up arses is sometimes necessary especially with this crop IMO.

I have a bad feeling that this regime are foreign coach lovers (hope I'm wrong but they were behind the Montanier appointment)

If I turn out to be wrong then great. I don't mind who gets us up but those who don't learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them!

15.) 03 Jan 2018 02:34:55
I agree I would prefer a British manager really but not convinced by Keane really and worry the romance of that appointment might lead to over expections. Same with O’Neil really and though I rate him more as a manager he is used to having money to splash and I am not convinced we have that much yet.
Monk might not do bad but there are others out there, Hecklingbottom at Barnsley, Parkinson at Bolton, Clough at Burton, Smith at Brentford, Harris at Millwall or maybe Big Mick at Ipswich. not to mention some quality young managers in League 1 and 2 who I think are just as likely to do a job as Monk or others being mentioned. Whoever we get needs to come soon!

29 Aug 2017 12:15:38
Harlee Dean to Brum for £2 million, that's the one put to bed then!

1.) 29 Aug 2017 13:02:10
I can't believe we haven't put in a bid for him. Unless we are looking at other targets. Don't need anymore midfielders!

2.) 29 Aug 2017 13:17:29
Ff. Perhaps £2m is too large a fee for the club.

12 Jul 2017 11:07:24
Watford are said to be preparing a £10million bid for Britt. They should be told it's not good enough, we need his goals and if he's going to be sold it has to be for at least £15 million with a sell on clause.

1.) 12 Jul 2017 11:35:12
Daz thay same rumour has been banging about for last 10 days.
Weard the northern echo knows this when watford are a southern club.
Beleive nothing till its official like burnleys was.

After the earlier flurry it's gone a bit quiet, hope we get the deals over the line on time.

1.) 31 Jan 2018 22:24:25
Watch Sky!

2.) 31 Jan 2018 22:24:43
Lolley done deal apparently

3.) 31 Jan 2018 22:29:56
Flanagan going to bolton

4.) 31 Jan 2018 22:30:37
Cool 😎

5.) 31 Jan 2018 22:44:10
Lolley on a 4.5 year contract. We now have 2 firecracker widemen!

6.) 31 Jan 2018 22:47:05
Lolley on a long term deal by all accounts.

7.) 31 Jan 2018 22:50:59
Will AK loan out McKay?

8.) 31 Jan 2018 23:15:48
Bsered, maybe a impact sub?

31 Jan 2018 19:02:25
Karanka is a busy guy today! Just read about a rumour of a move for M. Dawson, never dull at the City Ground!

1.) 31 Jan 2018 19:07:51
Read that too mate!!! I can't keep up!!!🏃🏃🏃

2.) 31 Jan 2018 19:11:06
So far a keeper centre half winger.
Maybe Dawson colback tomlin
It's looking up. Although all loans.
Are our owners trying to not spend too much
Hopefully proper back karanka in summer

3.) 31 Jan 2018 19:15:55
Good business short term deals buying time to properly restructure in Summer.

4.) 31 Jan 2018 19:51:45
Dawson supposedly pushing for the move. I wonder if there would of still been this amount of activity had we gone out and beat Preston last night?

31 Jan 2018 07:44:39
Living in Ireland so I don't get to many games. Last night was bad and I hope it was AK giving some lads a final chance, which they didn't take! Hope his mind is well and truly made up now on which players are up for this and that we get in a few today who will improve us. He needs time to sort out this mess!

1.) 31 Jan 2018 09:24:00
Yes daz he said as much in his post match interview new players comeing in who want to play for the club onwards and upwards 💪

29 Jan 2018 15:47:12
Too quiet for my liking, hope it's not a case of out goings and nothing coming in.

10 Jan 2018 09:17:29
Hope I'm wrong but have a feeling there is going to be another big money sale before the end of the window. A lot in the press at the moment after the result against Arsenal, let's wait and see.

1.) 10 Jan 2018 10:11:33
If we have to sell one of our stars to add to squad. Summit not right with new owners.
Point 1 we was already out of before they came in.
2 we sold. Britt 15m Only spent half that including pererborough sell on fee.
Record season ticket sales.
3 were allowed 39m losses over 3 years. With ffp.
So we shouldn't need to sell our best talent
To fund owt. The owner needs to dip into his own pockets.

2.) 10 Jan 2018 11:19:13
Why should the owner dip in to his own pocket to buy players? Should we not be working towards being self efficient instead of relying on the owner to funds us. We are a selling club like most teams there are only a selected few that can afford not to sell due to revenue.

3.) 10 Jan 2018 11:19:41
Joe Worrall will leave. It’s just how it is now. £12 million for a 20 year old and like Burke will hardly kick a ball.Burnley or Brighton most likely destinations.

4.) 10 Jan 2018 11:35:25
From a Forest perspective selling Joe Worrall is not the best option. Keep our defenders and sell, if we need to, BB because we have better coming through the junior squads

5.) 10 Jan 2018 11:36:40
In any case 10m is cheap and derisory when Liverpool have just spent 75m on a centre half

6.) 10 Jan 2018 12:01:10
If they go at the right price then they will go it’s that simple it’s business unless your Barcelona or Real Madrid then players will go elsewhere for the money as long as it’s reinvested properly then happy days get over it 😀

7.) 10 Jan 2018 13:06:53
Tbf to the owners, they bought a poorly run, loss making business. Yes we can still be called a 'sleeping giant' of the football world and the owners have taken a punt on that potential. Should any players get sold, my only gripe would be if there was no re-investment.

Our academy is our main source of income and sadly we will see many players sold, before we see the best of them in a Forest shirt. Reality bites but there is a chance that the owners vision includes keeping the best ones. I hope so but accept if a few have to go to keep us a viable business, then it is what it is. FTID.

8.) 10 Jan 2018 12:57:31
well said 'lower bc'- I cannot believe fans are still saying owners should dig a bit deeper and spend more cash-have they forgotten the last few years and do they not realise the state of the club when they took it over??.
Im very confident that our owners are wiser and will spend and save in a more controlled manner.

9.) 10 Jan 2018 13:02:55
If FFP allows us to lose 39mill over 3 years it will be terrible management if we don't lose a penny less than this amount - If we don't lose the maximum amount over this period i will set up a protest group in the car park and demand they lose more :)

10.) 10 Jan 2018 13:06:58
Agreed! We need to start asking for serious money like 30 million and writing it into contracts otherwise we will continue to be vulture prey.

Its sickening that everytime our club has a glimmer of hope its snatched away by a greedy team from the league above.

If they want these wonderful young players then get ready to pay because 30 million for Worrall or Brereton is going to look ridiculously cheap in 5 years.

Let's look forward. .
AK takes us to the prem in a two-year time frame. What will these players be worth then? The club will only achieve that goal if they keep hold of their best players.

We need to start protecting our future now with huge buy out clauses.

Selling makesd less sense now that at any other time in our recent history.

11.) 10 Jan 2018 13:49:04
I think a lot of it is down to the player too,Britt wanted to go & why would you stop a player leaving whos not happy just get a good price for them its called good business

12.) 10 Jan 2018 13:51:15
I would also like to add, that whilst 30 million is a massive amount it isn't going to be far off the mark after the new prem tv deal is announced and we see facebook/amazon and other potentially bidding for the rights packages.

Agents and players wouldn't agree with it because it potentially restricts sales but we should be pushing for that.

13.) 10 Jan 2018 19:18:26
How on earth can you put Worrall in the same bracket as a £75 million pound signing? Worrall has not been that consand £12 million should be snapped up. What we need is experience at the back. If we had that it’s unlikely he would make our 1st team let alone a premier league club.

2Tone I was trying to highlight the fact that MW wanted to bring in “more” young players to go with what we already have and the powers that be didn’t agree with that.So it was not “the” reason but apparently it was one of them.

Wasn’t wanting more youngsters in one of the reasons MW and co got the sack? We need experienced Championship players but I don’t hold out much hope of getting the Boro lads, they are the type of players we need. Not much time left to get deals done.

Don’t think we will see him in a Forest shirt again.MW brought him in and didn’t play him?? Needed to be playing up top with a partner and getting a run of games.Lets see what AK does with what’s left of the window🤞🤞

I would take those 3,no problem,we need goals and a midfield general and they fit the bill,if it can be done??
