Well it looks like Roy is back where it all started for him! This has been my dream team for years, really hope it works out. One thing is for sure, we will be in the headlines a lot more now Roy is on board.

1.) 28 Jan 2019 11:03:57
I hope it works out too Daz but I fear it will end in tears. Hope I am wrong.

2.) 28 Jan 2019 12:44:29
I’ve had some doubts about Keane but now he’s here I’ll give him my full support and I really do hope that he does well. He’ll certainly shake em up.

3.) 28 Jan 2019 13:58:08

4.) 29 Jan 2019 09:15:12
Get him to work on our midfielders straight away Martin best box to box midfielder of his generation.

Keano could play anywhere apart from Goalkeeper.

28 Jul 2018 22:35:03
Leeds have a bid of 7m accepted for Bamford, rising to 10m (sky) Big difference from the 15/ 16m that was rumoured when we were showing some interest.

1.) 29 Jul 2018 07:15:22
Who said we were showing interest anyway? Papers and rumour sites. Anyhow, I think we’ve dodged a bullit on Bamford. Still think we are a striker and a goalkeeper short. Maybe these two could be Premier League Sloan’s?

2.) 29 Jul 2018 09:27:58
Waste of money Leeds.

3.) 29 Jul 2018 10:09:50
not disappointed in missing out on bamford at all. useless for the majority of the season then has a run of games where hell score about 10 in 10 games. not what we need for a stupid price

4.) 29 Jul 2018 10:58:53
I believe Bamford would never have signed for us in the first place, time to move on. He is all bloody ego anyway. hasn't ripped up any trees in his career!

02 Mar 2018 20:27:52
Bamford has got another 2 so far this evening. Keeps this up and AK will have no chance of signing him in the summer, "if" he is a target.

1.) 02 Mar 2018 22:20:34
Make it three and we can't afford him anyways,Just like Clayton.
We arn' t shopping in that market.

2.) 03 Mar 2018 08:02:48
A goal every 205 mins and 1 assist this season in the championship!hardly someone you want to go out and buy for silly money is it!
Funny how a player has 1 good game get an hat trick then social media blows up.fact is he’s an average championship striker.

3.) 03 Mar 2018 19:41:49
Got a feeling bamf is going to be another Jordan Rhodes. Tens of millions spent by many clubs for a overhyped player.

4.) 03 Mar 2018 20:56:59
I disagree. I think he has quality. Good feet, clever football brain. He just lacks a bit of pace but that never stopped Sherringham.

5.) 04 Mar 2018 00:59:47
FF79 Marakanis will make the funds available in the Summer for Karanka to bring in the players he needs. Others will be moved on.

Next season Forest will be challenging top of half of the table. No more 54 goals conceded after 35 games.

Progress on and off the pitch has been made.

6.) 04 Mar 2018 13:30:35
Until we learn how to defend crosses into our box we'll be nowhere near the top six. Yet another goal conceded from a set piece. Vital 3 points yesterday though should pretty much ensure another season in the championship. 3 more points against the sheep please.

7.) 05 Mar 2018 14:10:31
I agree to an extent but it was never a corner in the first place - not in a million years.

8.) 05 Mar 2018 17:05:22
Thats the trouble 2star both teams are not just playing against each orher, the officials aswell.

If we are to be a top six side we need to be able to play both so to say.

31 Jan 2018 11:21:50
Burnley said to be coming back in with an improved offer for Worral, with the way signings are being made e.g loans and freebies I wouldn't be at all surprised if they take the money and we have another prospect sold off. Dealings so far give the impression money is tight.

1.) 31 Jan 2018 11:36:12
Well just aftet I posted that it’s in the press we have slapped 20milliion price on him.Going to be a long day!!!

2.) 31 Jan 2018 11:37:01
Yup! reminds me of when we sold Burke for 12 million and signed Lica for 200k! If Worrall gets sold and this Portuguese loanee is his replacement i'd be rather miffed

3.) 31 Jan 2018 11:38:51
Reported £20 million price tag. If they want to flash the cash. fair play!

02 Jan 2018 14:59:54
Roy Keane pictured at the game yesterday. Suite, shirt and tie, job interview?

1.) 02 Jan 2018 15:41:44
Does the quality of his suit and tie make him a good manager No
Is he the right man for the job IMO No as he hap poor management skills,

2.) 02 Jan 2018 15:43:21
Wasn’t redknapp there as well?

3.) 02 Jan 2018 15:45:13
That doesn’t sound right to me , who has given you the info that Roy Keane was at Elland road.

4.) 02 Jan 2018 17:10:11
He was scouting his Irish squad players

5.) 02 Jan 2018 17:21:16
Calm down guys, just posting what is already out there. It was on a sports web site with a photo to go with, true or not I can't say for sure.Just thought if it was true someone might know something?? Not saying he is the right man for the job but who knows he might have mellowed a bit and learned from Martin.Personally I think both together would be a good shout.

6.) 02 Jan 2018 18:32:38
Just shows how dumb some people are then, Daz. Put 2 and 2 together and come up with 76.

7.) 02 Jan 2018 19:06:44
‘Keano in crowd today…’

‘Please come home.’

‘Would love him back. ’

‘Hero. Legend.’

All quoted from Sunderland fans in October 2017! He won the Championship title for them.

I'd prefer him to Karanka.

8.) 02 Jan 2018 20:26:55
Please not Keane. Remember what he did to Alf Inge Haaland?

9.) 02 Jan 2018 20:48:30
Nice to see the chairman was in attendance and looking busy. Even better there was no sign of

10.) 02 Jan 2018 20:50:03
I remember what he did for forest, great player for us.
Could do with steel and leadership now in our midfield instead of 5ft and 7stone weaklings

11.) 02 Jan 2018 21:09:33
I heard Keane was at the home game agaisnt sunderland rather than the game agaisnt Leeds as well as redknapp

12.) 02 Jan 2018 21:54:05
Malcky Mackay, Ian Holloway, Steve Bruce, Sean Dyche, Nigel Pearson, Harry Redknapp, Eddie Howe, Alex Neil, Jokanovic, Sean Dyche, Aitor Karanka, Steve Bruce, Chris Hughton, Rafa Benitez, David Wagner.

Notice how few of them are not British anyone? Only four of the last 15 promoted managers were not from UK/Ireland! Overseas managers have a bad record in the Championships.

Give me Keane, O'Neill or Monk based on that statistic please!

Just saying.

13.) 02 Jan 2018 22:09:00
I remember seeing keanes first game, thrust in against the then nightly Liverpool. Marked the then mercurial John Barnes out of the game. A complete psychopath but defo in my top five favourite players. Jesus Pearce laws and Keane all the same team . .ouch! Young Nigel wasn’t scored of mixing it either .

14.) 02 Jan 2018 22:54:28
They were the days 2star! I do have a soft spot for Cloughie as well but I reckon Keane or Monk would sort this bunch of soft touches out and sign a midfield enforcer without hesitation. Rocket up arses is sometimes necessary especially with this crop IMO.

I have a bad feeling that this regime are foreign coach lovers (hope I'm wrong but they were behind the Montanier appointment)

If I turn out to be wrong then great. I don't mind who gets us up but those who don't learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them!

15.) 03 Jan 2018 02:34:55
I agree I would prefer a British manager really but not convinced by Keane really and worry the romance of that appointment might lead to over expections. Same with O’Neil really and though I rate him more as a manager he is used to having money to splash and I am not convinced we have that much yet.
Monk might not do bad but there are others out there, Hecklingbottom at Barnsley, Parkinson at Bolton, Clough at Burton, Smith at Brentford, Harris at Millwall or maybe Big Mick at Ipswich. not to mention some quality young managers in League 1 and 2 who I think are just as likely to do a job as Monk or others being mentioned. Whoever we get needs to come soon!

Having spent a lot last year and by the looks of things so far this window, have the purse strings been pulled in? Frees and loans seems the way things are going at the moment.

1.) 26 Jun 2019 10:28:14
It is fun and exciting when a team splashes cash. But still good deals out there on frees and loans IMO

2.) 26 Jun 2019 12:57:54
Nothing to do with cash all to do with ffp. We don't have a ground to sell to balance the books. AK was allowed to give out far too generous contracts to average players and emergency defenders needed in January to cover injuries didn't help.

3.) 26 Jun 2019 17:21:58
I think a bit of patience is needed hardly any clubs are doing business. How about we all just chill out.

4.) 26 Jun 2019 18:42:44
Good idea!!!

5.) 26 Jun 2019 20:43:04
Salou you sir, just relaxing with a glass of red.

10 Apr 2019 18:42:14
This will ruffle a few feathers but here it goes! What about letting Roy have a go on his own?

1.) 10 Apr 2019 19:00:14
Whoever we get next the owner has to demand quick pass and move football, nolt hoof ball.

2.) 10 Apr 2019 19:10:01
Lc not warnock or the cowleys then??

3.) 10 Apr 2019 19:22:26
Sorry daz but no way as ivecsaid before wanted and still want martin to do well but i would go for the cowley brothers the problem is every manager we get in we expect a quick fix to turn it around in one season ain't happening

4.) 10 Apr 2019 19:50:59
I am totally fed up of the management merry go round. We aren't going to be promoted and we aren't going to be relegated either. Let's at least Martin till the end of the season and calm down a bit!

5.) 10 Apr 2019 19:57:27
S_getty agreed mate

6.) 10 Apr 2019 20:02:31
Stevie f, No, and No.

7.) 10 Apr 2019 20:08:28
Lc too right

01 Mar 2019 15:45:35
Anyone have any info on the £147mil debt we supposedly have? Thought we were debt free after Mr. M bought the club? Seems an awful lot of money in the red and then to go announce the ground redevelopment, what's going on?

1.) 01 Mar 2019 16:25:48
The 147 comes from accumulated debt over many years and does not affect FFP. We made a loss of £5 million last year and we are still within the FFP limits.

2.) 01 Mar 2019 16:56:39
Seems to me that the players are the only winners

3.) 01 Mar 2019 18:16:36
No 22 was good with all that debt stuff 🤔🤔🤔
Haven't seen him on here in ages.

4.) 01 Mar 2019 20:18:09
Agreed Rogie. Maybe he was too intellectual for us lot.

5.) 02 Mar 2019 11:31:31
Just focus on positive things on the pitch instead of negative things to moan about.
No 22 will come out and give you an update if and when there is something to worry about!😴😊

04 Feb 2019 09:32:28
If MON persists with playing Murphy up front it will prove he is as stubborn as they come. I have said a few times that for years Martin and Roy were my dream team for Forest but the Ireland job towards the end had changed my mind. Hope he can see what we all can and play the 15 goal striker that was sitting on the bench, Murphy doesn't have the legs anymore to play from the start. Hope we start winning and soon.

1.) 04 Feb 2019 10:23:47
Grabban is carrying an injury. That's why he has been struggling for goals too.

2.) 04 Feb 2019 11:15:12
I agree we should be starting grabban but if he is carrying an injury we have to be careful or we'll end up with another long injury lay off with yet another player and we don't need that at the moment.bonatini looked bright when he came on so I'm hoping he gets a bit longer at the weekend.i still think appiah should get a run out, can't see it doing any harm

22 Jan 2019 18:26:00
Being linked with various players in the press today but how about bringing Lansbury back from Villa? Would fit right in, should settle quickly and could chip in with the odd goal.

1.) 22 Jan 2019 19:14:16
Good shout

2.) 22 Jan 2019 19:20:33
Not for me mate. just watched "Stan The Man's" Top Ten goals for Forest. him and Roy were unstoppable!!!
I just hope we can reach those dizzy heights again.
Lethal front two!!!

3.) 22 Jan 2019 20:28:04
Rather get Nick Powell from Wigan in straight swap for fox, both out of contract in the summer and be a good deal for both clubs.

4.) 22 Jan 2019 21:41:33
Rogie. Agreed lethal. Not only those two though. Supplied by Woan, Stone, Bohenan and a defence with Cooper and Psycho. Not bad eh.

5.) 22 Jan 2019 22:34:44
Agreed Rogie. I have watched that montage of Stans goals many times.

6.) 23 Jan 2019 05:41:50
no way leave lansbury at villa. he was quick to get away and sulked at lot, he ain't that good either.

7.) 23 Jan 2019 16:32:46
Lansbury? Sir you are either mad or you have the pox!

Something hasn’t been right behind the scenes for weeks now.The Chairman didn’t look too happy at the Leeds game, even if we did win,the pressure was there for all to see.The owner is known for chopping and changing managers at Olympiacos and after spending a lot of money at Forest and not getting instant success it looks like he will shortly be doing the same here.

If we are talking to Burnley about Heaton we should also ttry get Vydra on loan,he will get goals in the championship.

I’m a bit biased as I’m from Roy Keane country (Cork) but we will obviously be linked with a lot of Irish players this summer. If they can improve the team I don’t see an issue

A bid of 12m to 13m and he’ll be off.
