Velios has signed.4 year deal. 1.2m euro apparently. Thoughts anyone?

1.) 29 Jun 2016 11:15:25
Lars and/ or Blackstock on their way out.

2.) 29 Jun 2016 11:24:31
Hope it's Blackstock he couldn't score in a house of ill repute 👀.

3.) 29 Jun 2016 11:32:05
don't much about him, let's hope he is a success with Britt.

4.) 29 Jun 2016 11:38:08
Blackstock couldn't score in Holloway Prison, with a pocket full of Pardons! 😂😂😂.

5.) 29 Jun 2016 11:48:16
Dexter was bloody lucky to have his contract renewed last time! Under performed, over rated. get someone in who doesn't fall over in a slight breeze.

6.) 29 Jun 2016 12:51:23
I can't knock dexter - he has his limitations and has never been prolific but he's always put effort in - the fools are the ones who gave him a ridiculously huge contract (£ and duration) and the ones who think he should be scoring 20 plus a season. If/ when dexter moves on I wish him luck.

7.) 29 Jun 2016 13:20:50
I think Fryatt and Blackstock should be found new clubs .

Fryatt to many injuries only played 50 games in last 5 seasons is not good enough.

Blackstock trys hard but is not good enough to meet our plans going forward. Not prolific enough.

8.) 29 Jun 2016 13:54:43
Completely agree Darren, we need to start looking forward. Blackstock and Fryatt cannot take this club forward. The club still needs to recruit a replacement for Antonio however so we have natural wide players on both flanks.

9.) 29 Jun 2016 16:30:47
Fryatt lars and Dexter should all go but it's replacing them that's the issue.

10.) 29 Jun 2016 16:34:42
How can you offload injured players under contract?

11.) 29 Jun 2016 18:28:37
We pay an insurance premium when we signed him. If he can't play again the club can claim the insurance and terminate his contract.

12.) 29 Jun 2016 19:03:37
I'd give lars a proper chance not a few minutes here and there look how long it took kev cambell to settle but I'd would still be looking a forward options as for dex i'd try him at the back he's good in the air and it's worked for players before as for fryatt we got him to late in his careerso I would get him out ASAP.

13.) 29 Jun 2016 20:03:53
I remember Gareth Taylor playing at the back not a successful transformation to be honest.

14.) 29 Jun 2016 20:10:57
Sounds good but simply isn't true, no insurance company would take that risk.

15.) 29 Jun 2016 20:22:22
Why do you think a footballer has to have a medical before any transfer or signing goees throuugh. Its for the insurance companies benefit. that's why we couldn't afford the. loan of the leicester goalie on loan as under ffp we wernt allowed to pay any fees including insurance.

16.) 29 Jun 2016 21:03:41
Its all gone quite regarding henri lansbury a few weeks ago he had moved down south anybody heard anything? Just saying.

17.) 29 Jun 2016 21:32:01
After the curry night at the local I moved down south too 🤔.

18.) 29 Jun 2016 21:58:50
Was still at training today.

19.) 29 Jun 2016 22:00:09
He is probably trying to work out what the new man expects of him.

20.) 29 Jun 2016 22:19:27
Let him go and get gardener.

21.) 30 Jun 2016 08:44:01
Speaking to some Evertonian season ticket holders and they rated him very highly, good work rate and a menace in the box. They said that unfortunately Moyes didn't play him enough but feel with a long run in the team he could be an asset in the Championship.

Isn't it nice a new manager and a new player within 24 hours although the latter was probably the worst kept secret in June LOL.

22.) 02 Jul 2016 13:02:04
Worst kept secret in June was zlatans next club but vellos was a close 2nd.

Rumours we are interested in Greek striker Velios. Anyone know of him? His stats are not that impressive at all: played 24 scored 3 and he's a striker?!

1.) 04 Jun 2016 18:38:39
Not sure where your stats are from Donny but apparently last season he scored 11 in 27 appearances for IRAKLIS THESSALONIKI in the Greek Super League. Had 3 assists.

2.) 04 Jun 2016 23:50:15
May as well keep dex if them stats.

3.) 05 Jun 2016 11:47:32
To be honest don't know how dex is still at forest the tea lady as a better goals to game ratio.

02 Jun 2016 10:59:25
I did of course mean AEK Athens. too early for me, lol.

02 Jun 2016 10:58:12
Montanier (? ) apparently on the brink of joining AKS Athens. according to the NEP (mind you, we all know who accurate that is! ) .

01 Jun 2016 13:29:36
Ain't it quiet?

1.) 01 Jun 2016 14:25:28
Yes, Doncaster Red. I hung my washing out earlier, then I had a cup of tea, pruned my Geranium's, then brought it in again. 😴😴😴.

2.) 01 Jun 2016 17:13:51
We must support the most depressing club in the league. Never any good news.

3.) 01 Jun 2016 18:29:50
Yes 1973. just had another cup of tea. this time I had a Custard Cream, because it's Wednesday, and I always treat myself to a Custard Cream, on a Wednesday, now a Thursdays different, because I allways have a nice slice of Madeira Cake with me tea on a Thursday. I like to push the boat out every now and then you know, now I know what your all ask'n? . "what about Fridays Rogie Red? do tel? ". well on a Friday, i get inebriated.

4.) 01 Jun 2016 18:31:46
Dragging on a bit now in fairness! Surely the powers that be could give an update of some sort? Not asking for all the details but a little communication would be nice!
If this investment/ take over is going ahead I hope it happens sooner rather than later so we can appoint the right people and get things moving in the right direction. Living in hope!

5.) 01 Jun 2016 18:34:20

I have some good news:

We are possibly going to be taken over.

We are temporarily out of the embargo.

We will soon have a manager.

We are going to get Britt fit again, and firing on all cylinders.

Forest have a new bird site connection.

We have a new shirt out.

You can tour the city ground on certain dates, if you wish to.

This board is still going.

At the start of the season every team starts with no points.

6.) 01 Jun 2016 19:14:03
RR, I prefer baklava with a strong coffee, on a Thu. But Fridays are always a day to celebrate, with something a little stronger. For medicinal purposes, of course.
TNGH, we may all start with the same points but some teams start with more hope than expectation. Let's expect a more professional approach to inspire greater rewards, for us long suffering fans.
And I'll drink to that. 👍.

7.) 01 Jun 2016 19:15:55
rogie red I hope its a big madeira cake as we are all round yours tommorow.

8.) 01 Jun 2016 19:17:53
TNGH.? Are you Fawaz in disguise!

9.) 01 Jun 2016 19:44:57
Rogie Red

Not at all, i was just trying to be positive.

Im certain Bournemouth started their promotion season with less chance of promotion in their minds than most.

We all want to see winning football, even better if its done in style.

10.) 01 Jun 2016 20:15:48
Happy Days Storm'n. bored stupid. was watching Trevor Francis. My Forest Story. don't you think he looks a bit like Tony Hadley, with less hair! Lol! 😂😂😂.

11.) 02 Jun 2016 05:27:03
Youre easily pleased Tomorrow.

12.) 02 Jun 2016 08:38:53

Not in the slightist, if i do not like the new manager, if i do not like the players brought in, if i do not like the style of football when the season starts my words will no doubt have some posters jumping down my throat.

I'm just do not see the point in the club releasing news for the sake of it. What is the point in the club saying it will happen soon if it might not.

The sooner things get moving the better, but i do not want to be fed more bull just because the club thinks it is whst i want to hear.

Karelis does look pretty decent; knows where the net is, good tirn if pace, holds off players well, and has quick feet (check out YouTube) . If this is true then I seriously hope we have both Britt and Karelis. This season just might be the big push, hence we maybe having both?

Don't understand all this Lichaj slating. I think he's a decent player. Makes the odd mistake but who doesn't now and again?
And at least he puts in a shift on the pitch.

Nothing wrong with Zola. he's a lot better than what we currently have lmfao. In all honesty I would be fine with Zola coming in.

What an absolute joke this is becoming. The news now is that the Greek deal is nowhere near completed and the FA are waiting on a load of documentation from them, including proof of funds. Still no manager. Still nothing from Fawaz or anyone in an official capacity at the club. New season getting closer each day. Competitors who were managerless sorted out in a matter of weeks. This does not look too clever.
