Rumours circulating on the bird site that Eric Lichaj wants out of the club. My only guess is he knows Hunt will be signed in January and is first choice. I hope not but time will tell.
1.) Would be a massive shame.
2.) Hes playing left back at the moment so he should be ok.
3.) I've only heard Pearce say good thing about Lichaj's attitude and the positive affect it has on the rest of the squad (he usually dumps him in with 'the cohens and the reids' et al).
This doesn't sound like the actions of a such a person and, really, if a player wants to run away at the first sign that his position was under threat - rather than stop and fight for his place - then why would you even want him in the squad?

5.) Just for the record l believe this is tosh too but thought l would report my observations!
6.) Someone obviously bored and making up stories again. His wife loves Nottingham so very much doubt this even has 1% of truth in it.
7.) If he plays like he did against Ipswich many more times Pearce will get rid - he got destroyed all game!
8.) Agreed, Lichaj is too slow, Forest still need a good left back.
Chris Burke is also not good enough, Ben Osbourne shouldve played v Ipswich.
Osbourne the closest thing to reid we have, why are our players always injured???
9.) Not saying lichaj is not good enough, just had a stinker, and hopefully his last - Osborn keeps the ball well and distributes intelligently, but not really in the Reid mould.

It says great things about our chairman that despite FFP and its penalties we continue to do good business bankrolled by him. Looking at the situation at Leeds we should thank our lucky stars we have Fawaz.
If we could create a left footed clone we would be rejoicing!
On a more positive note Eric Lichaj has signed an extension on his existing contract!
I think people said Fawaz needed to show his ambition by signing Hobbs! It's not over till it's over, may well come back and have a great end to the season. The glass is still very much half full.
Just for the record l believe this is tosh too but thought l would report my observations!

Why we would play a loan player at right back over a player who is here for the long term is beyond me. Lichaj is a quality right back at this level.

There is a reason we let McGugan go on a free, there is a reason he isn't playing for Watford. Let's leave it at that.

On the Tesche note, l am a massive fan. If we don't get him to sign a new contract he will be a massive loss. Even bigger bearing in mind the embargo. His touch and pass to set Osbourn away and then to get up and keep pace with him was class.
To answer Carlo, yes. He has done it before with Villa and he has been in good form for us this season.
While l rate Paterson, Antonio has been our most threatening player in most of the games he has played. Half way through the season he has scored nearly as many goals as Paterson did all last season. He is our top assists man too. When he gets doubled up on it creates more space for others. I would drop Lansbury every day over Antonio, closely followed by Danny Fox.
